1. Use a corset:

This material should be the most convenient and fastest of all materials. I think everyone should have no doubts about how to use it. What is more doubtful is which kind of corset to choose? Currently, there are three ways to put on and take off corsets: sticky, zipper and pull-over.

The most practical one for cosplayers is the devil-stick type. Its advantage is that it has a long service life and you can adjust how loose or tight it is (the devil-stick type is very long) , you can choose to stick it to the front or back, and the tightness will change accordingly). The disadvantage is that if you accidentally fail to glue the velcro properly during washing, the corset will probably be ruined. Also, be sure to stick the velcro fasteners correctly. If the velcro fasteners are not aligned properly, it will be very difficult for the velcro to touch the body. Uncomfortable.

The advantage of the zipper type is that it is easy to put on and take off, but its service life is short. Because any kind of corset will become loose with the increase of the number and time of wear (just like a swimsuit will become loose after being worn for a long time), and if the zipper corset becomes loose, it will no longer achieve the effect. can still be used (just stick it tighter than before).

The pullover style is a style with no other openings. Just like a cute little one, you can just pull it off the headgear. The disadvantage is that it is difficult to put on (it is easy to touch the face, so it is not very suitable for cosplayers who are accustomed to putting on makeup first and then wrapping their chests), and like the zipper type, the service life is shorter (the reason is the same as the zipper type). The advantage is that it is the most comfortable to wear (because there are no unnecessary seams and openings).

As for the material of the corset, pure Lycra or a blend of Lycra and other materials is better.

2. Using a corset:

This material is also very convenient, and it can also be used as a corset when not used as a corset. It is a very versatile material. As for the method of use, you should not have too many questions. Just open it, put it on and hook it up. However, please note that when using the corset as a corset, you must turn the original corset upside down. use. Because of the human body shape, the lower part of the corset must be wider than the upper part (because the top is narrower from the waist to the abdomen and the bottom is wider). If it is worn upside down, it will be more in line with the body line (because the chest to the waist is wider at the top) Narrow), more comfortable to wear, and better for the human body (otherwise, the person may go directly to the hospital at the end of the afternoon).

As for the way corsets are put on and taken off, there are two types, one is the hook type and the other is the zipper type. The more recommended one is the hook type. Although it takes longer to put on and take off, it is more durable because the zipper type is easy to break or crack from the zipper, while the hook type does not matter even if a pair of hooks are broken. What relationship.

As for whether to choose one with steel wire or without steel wire, it is a matter of opinion. When you put it on with wires, you can correct your posture, and you won't be hunched over (when you hunch, the wires will block your back and it will be difficult for you to hunch). The posture will become very beautiful, but the disadvantage is that it always feels a bit stuck. . The one without wires is more comfortable, but it has no function of correcting posture.

3. Use cloth strips (including elastic bandages, non-elastic bandages and chest wraps):

The use of bandages and chest wraps is as follows:

Wear a cute little underwear, use a safety pin to pin one end to your chest, then push your chest to the left and right, and start wrapping your chest. About two to four turns are enough, and the remaining head is inserted into the wrap. Wrap it twice inside the bandage and secure it with a safety pin. It's best to have a partner help with these steps, as the bandage can easily slip off.

Using an elastic bandage or elastic bra wrap will be more comfortable. The disadvantage is that it is more difficult to wrap, and the wrapping effect is relatively poor. Using non-elastic bandages or non-elastic bra wraps will be more painful, but easier to wrap and more effective than elastic ones. But no matter which one it is, as long as it uses cloth strips, it is easier to slide down or loosen.

It is important to note that there is a risk of rib inflammation when using this method (there have actually been cosplayers who got rib inflammation because they were wrapped too tightly using this method), especially when using elastic bandages or elastic chest wraps. The risk is higher when using a bandage, because once the elastic bandage is wrapped tightly, it will stick to the groove of the ribs with movement, thereby causing the possibility of rib inflammation.

4. Use tapes (including sealing tape, transparent tape, breathable tape, etc.)

The method of using tapes is as follows:

First remove armpit hair Shave it off, wipe off the moisture on your body (if there is water, it will not stick), put a chest patch on the key parts, then take out the tape (wide transparent tape or wide sealing tape can be used), start from the middle of the chest and apply it around the chest tight. When applying it, you should pay attention to pushing the breasts to the left and right as much as possible (the opposite action of squeezing out the cleavage), and also make sure that the tape sticks to the skin as flatly as possible. Approximately four or five circles of wide tape (applying each circle side by side) can flatten the entire chest shape. Remember to apply two layers at the beginning and end (to prevent loosening).

The whole process is very similar to bandaging the chest, but the tape is stronger and flatter than the bandage, but it is more uncomfortable and painful when it is peeled off (because the body hair will be pulled out). Also, although the tape sometimes loses its stickiness due to body moisture (this is actually rare), it will not loosen.

Shave your armpit hair first to avoid accidentally sticking it (otherwise it will be very painful when you tear it off). Also, be sure to put the bra patch on before starting to tape your chest, otherwise it will be extremely painful when you peel it off (and it may cause allergies). Bra patches are sold in many drug and cosmetics stores such as Watsons, and they are not very expensive (I remember a small pack of about ten pairs, about 60 yuan).

But I highly recommend wearing this for people who tend to hunched over during COS, because the steel wire can correct this condition (it will force the wearer to straighten their waist and back).

Appendix: How to tie the breasts of male characters with exposed breasts

Materials used: transparent tape

Steps:

1. Shave your armpit hair, dry your body, and put bra patches on key areas.

2. Take out the tape and push the breasts to the sides. Place the tape from the left chest point around the back to the right chest point, and then cut it off (just don't tape the part directly in front of the chest).

It is important to note that the first piece of tape must be applied from the height of the chest point (that is, the nipple).

3. Repeat step 2 and attach it to other parts of the chest (don’t attach it to the front part). You must push the chest to the left and right, press it tightly, and flatten it while sticking it. Make sure that the shape is flat.

4． Paste transparent tape on the inside of the clothes (it is best to use two layers), squeeze AB glue on the transparent tape on the inside of the clothes, and then stick it to the tape on the chest (it is best to apply three layers of tape on the skin area where AB glue is to be used) ), the position needs to be adjusted to what you want.

5. Wait patiently for the AB glue to dry, and then you're done.

Steps 4 & 5 are mainly to prevent light leakage, so be sure that the area you post is large and accurate enough, and don’t let photographers take advantage of it.

AB glue can stick clothes to the skin tightly. As long as you don’t play with it or make too big movements, its effect can last for an afternoon. If the adhesive tape becomes loose due to body moisture, just replace the tape and apply it again. Why do you need to put transparent tape on clothes and skin and then apply AB glue? It is because you are afraid of damaging the clothes, and the volatile agent of AB glue is very bad for the human body (it is corrosive to a certain extent).
