Six kilometers southeast of Zhengzhou, Shangdu, there is a thousand-year-old temple called Xiangyun Temple. According to county records, the temple was built in 686 AD in the second year of the Tang Dynasty, with a history of 1300 years. Xiao Putuo Xiangyun Ancient Temple is located at the junction of Zhengzhou Airport Expressway and Southwest Ring Expressway, passing through Xiangyun Temple Village, Xiangyun Office of Development Zone. The temple covers an area of 99 mu. 0/2km from Zhongyuan Pagoda/KLOC-. It is adjacent to Huangdi Ancient Jujube Garden in the south, Caonan Township in Guancheng District of Zhengzhou City in the west, Lu Jin Ostrich Garden in Zhengzhou in the north and Xinzheng International Airport in the southeast. The Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, the key project of the national South-to-North Water Transfer Project, flows through the temple. This temple is surrounded by mountains, with high terrain, elegant environment and convenient transportation. It is a rare leisure resort in Zhengzhou Mall, a metropolis in the Central Plains.
