School leaders of Beijing No.20 Middle School

The school intelligent robot team was established in September 2003 1.

After several years of development, intelligent robot activities have formed a good model: the first year of junior high school has set up a weekly activity class; Elective courses once a week in senior one; Arrange group training twice a week at a fixed time; Hold robot lectures from time to time; Conduct basic training in robot manufacturing.

The contents of basic training include: 1. Carry out practical activities of popularizing basic training;

2. Carry out project research activities to cultivate students' comprehensive research and unity and cooperation ability.

Important achievements:

International competition:

In February 2007, 65438 won the silver medal in the IROC International Robot Olympics.

The radio direction finding team of our school won the bronze medal in the IROC International Robot Olympic Competition in February 2005, and was established on March 3, 20051day.

Radio direction finding is a scientific and technological movement, which is athletic, scientific and interesting. Besides physical training, we should also learn radio knowledge and electronic production skills. The general process is as follows: in the jungle, suburbs, parks and other natural environments, several signal sources are hidden in advance and regular telegraph signals are sent out. Participants hold a radio direction finder, measure the direction of hidden radio stations, run a certain distance on foot, and quickly and accurately find out these signal sources one by one. The winner is to find a specified number of units within a specified time, with less practical time, which is also commonly known as radio "fox hunting". Activities reflect the combination of theory and practice, physique and intelligence, which can broaden horizons, strengthen physique, hone will and cultivate independent thinking and analytical judgment.

At the same time, it is an important project for students to offer elective courses in high school and activity courses in junior high school.

Major achievements:

1. Team score:

In July, 2005, he won the champion of Beijing Youth Radio Direction Finding Competition.

In June, 2005 165438+ 10, it won the champion of Haidian high school group, and the biological innovation activity group of junior high school group was established in September, 2004, which has been four years. The research contents of the activity group include: the cultivation of freesia, the production of butterfly pupa crafts, biological embroidery, the cultivation of Pleurotus ostreatus, the production of vein specimens, the reproduction of mantis, the reproduction and life history observation of Papilio, the reproduction of citrus Papilio, the production of butterfly specimens, the ecological photography of insects, the reproduction of sweet potato moth, the observation of parasitic Trichogramma in campus, the search for insects in mountains, the reproduction of mosquitoes and grass. At the same time, I participated in the beautiful actions in Beijing: observing the behavior of the yellow-bellied mud bee, building an ecological pool on campus, and beautifying the school lawn with dandelions.

Achievements:

In 2006, Observation on the Behavior of the Yellow-bellied Mudbee and Building an Ecological Small Pond on Campus won the 7th Excellent Scheme Design Award of American Environmental Action in Beijing.

In 2007, "Dandelion Beautifying Campus Lawn" won the 8th American World Bank Excellent Innovative Scheme Design Award in Beijing;

In 2007, the scientific essay "Feed the sweet potato moth" and "Observation of Trichogramma parasitism on campus" won the second prize of Haidian District Science and Technology Innovation Competition; At the same time, the school-based textbook "Pleurotus ostreatus cultivation" was compiled.

In June, 2007, Youth Science Illustrated, a national excellent periodical, published a special topic about "playing with nature" in school biology. The school MCU programming group was established in September 2005. The MCU programming scheme is based on a MCU chip DP80 1. Because the input devices (various sensors, sound, light, temperature, gravity, lever, switch) and output devices (control, motor, sound, light) can be changed at will, the program can be compiled according to logic, and the single chip microcomputer gives students more room to create inventions, and students can design and make them themselves.

Achievements:

In 2005, 7 primary and middle school students won the first prize, 5 won the second prize, 3 won the third prize, and 3 robot balloons won the first prize.

In 2005, three students won the first prize of MCU programming and two won the first prize of balloon competition in Beijing, and achieved excellent results. And won the first place in Haidian District and Beijing.

In 2006, five students won the first prize, four won the second prize, and 10 won the third prize. Four people won the first prize in the robot relay race;

In 2006, 1 students won the first prize in programming, two won the second prize, and won the first place in Haidian District and Beijing again. Our astronomical observation group was established in 1999. The school has established an observatory, equipped with meade 178mm refracting telescope, Nikon D50 camera and computer. At the same time, with the support of Haidian Education Committee and Science and Technology Committee, six mobile astronomical observation mirrors were added to meet the needs of the activities. The astronomical team insisted on 2 hours' activities every week, and observed messier 1 10 celestial bodies, four satellites of Jupiter with changing positions, the changes of the surplus and deficiency of Venus, the land on the moon, the moon sea and craters, meteors, comets, Mars, Saturn and other celestial phenomena. Organize students to observe in time when special astronomical phenomena appear. Jointly hold a series of lectures on astronomical knowledge with Beijing Planetarium, invite experts to guide students in astronomical observation, and often organize students to visit Beijing Planetarium and Xinglong Observatory.

Major achievements:

In 2005, in the 25th Beijing Science and Technology Innovation Competition, Starry Sky Observation-The Whole Track of transit of venus won the "Excellent Science and Technology Practice Project Award" in Beijing.

In the 2006 Haidian Astronomical Knowledge Competition, 6 people won the first prize, 8 people won the second prize, and 18 people won the third prize.

In 2006, primary and middle school students in Beijing won the first prize in the junior middle school group of astronomical observation equipment operation.

In the 2007 Astronomical Observation Competition for Primary and Secondary School Students in Beijing, many students won awards.
