Introduction of scenic spots

Xiulou, a landmark building in Guiyang, was built in the Ming Dynasty and is located on a boulder in Nanming River in the urban area. This is a three-story wooden attic. For the first time visitors to Guiyang, Xiulou is a scenic spot not to be missed. The night view here is also beautiful. Cuiwei Garden, also built in Ming Dynasty, can also be visited through this building.

Xiulou Scenic Area is mainly divided into three parts, namely Fuyuqiao, Jiaxilou and Cuiwei Garden. Xiulou was built in Wanli period of Ming Dynasty, and its name means "Hakka Pavilion Show". This wooden building is 22.9 meters high and has three floors. The top floor is called "Jiaxiulou". Visitors can climb the building and overlook the scenery along the Nanming River. For hundreds of years, many writers and scholars have left hymns in Jiaxiulou, the most popular of which is Liu Yushan's 206-word couplet in Qing Dynasty, which summarizes the geographical position and historical changes of Guiyang, a mountain city.

Fuyu Bridge is a stone bridge vertically across Nanming River. From north to south, Shimu Pailou, Hanbi Pavilion, Jiaxiu Building and Cuiwei Garden are connected in series. Cuiwei Garden, formerly known as Kannonji, is now an ancient architectural complex combining temples and gardens, including pavilions, rockeries and promenades. Now it is mainly a place for local people to taste wine, chat and exchange calligraphy and painting.
