Classification of X-ray machines

Refers to an X-ray machine that uses various images formed by X-rays to pass through the human body to diagnose patients. It can be divided into many types.

⒈Classification by structural form ⑴Portable: This type of X-ray machine has a simple structure, is light in weight, and is easy to assemble and disassemble. The complete machine parts can be carried separately in a suitcase or backpack, making it suitable for temporary mobility inspections outside the hospital.

⑵Mobile type: This type of X-ray machine has a compact structure and small volume. Electric drive, easy to move. It can perform mobile bedside fluoroscopy and photography examinations in the ward. If it is equipped with an image intensifier and X-ray TV, it can perform monitoring and interventional treatments.

⑶ Fixed type: This type of X-ray machine has many and heavy parts and complex structure, and needs to be fixed in a dedicated machine room. This type of machine has strict requirements on power supply, computer room, installation, debugging, etc.

⒉Classification by output power

Classification by output power refers to the nominal power of the X-ray tube such as 10kW, 20kW, 50kW, etc. In China, X-ray tubes are usually allowed to pass Classification of the maximum tube current size.

⑴ Small: X-ray machine with maximum tube current below 100mA.

⑵ Medium size: X-ray machine with a maximum tube current of 200~500mA.

⑶ Large: X-ray machine with a maximum tube current of more than 500mA.

⒊Classification by scope of use

⑴ Comprehensive X-ray machine: An X-ray machine with various functions such as fluoroscopy and photography, suitable for examining a variety of diseases and parts.

⑵Special X-ray machine: X-ray machine designed to adapt to the examination of certain specialized diseases, such as dental X-ray machine, mammography X-ray machine, and cardiovascular angiography X-ray machine.

⑶ Multifunctional X-ray machine: The integration of different diagnostic equipment is the development trend of medical imaging equipment. For example, Siemens' multifunctional device AXIOM Luminos dRF can be used for X-ray fluoroscopy, photography and angiography medical imaging diagnosis, and also has interventional functions. One piece of equipment can basically complete routine examinations in the radiology department. According to the biological effects of X-rays, X-ray machines that treat diseases can be divided into three categories according to their uses:

⒈Contact therapy machines are mainly used to treat diseases on the surface of the skin or superficial layers of the body cavity.

⒉Surface treatment machine is mainly used for the treatment of larger areas of skin or superficial diseases.

⒊Deep treatment machine is mainly used for the treatment of deep tissue diseases.
