Geographical environment of point military region

Point military region is rich in water resources. In addition to the Yangtze River flowing through the territory, there are 13 rivers with a total length of 167.4 km, of which 5 rivers have rain and flood areas exceeding 30 square kilometers. There are four small and medium-sized reservoirs 14 and more than one small stream 100 in the basin.

Military section of the Yangtze River: The Yangtze River enters Shangfengjian Village, Qiaobian Town, Yiling District, and leaves Aijia Village via Pingshan Dam, Songmenwan, Zhu Shi Street and Aijia Town, with a total length of 35 kilometers and a living water area of 1 540.37 hectares. Juanqiao River (called Daxi in ancient times, Tucheng River in Tucheng Township, Qiaobian River in Qiaobian Town, and Juanqiao River in Bawangdian below) originated from Hongyan Bay in Tucheng Township. It flows through Baiyan Taogou, Shizidong Bay, Chexi, Yujiaba, Tucheng, Caojiafan, Luobuxi River, Liulinzi River, Tashi, Hanjiaba, Linglingkou, Qiaobian Market Town, Taiping Bridge, Shiyan River, Pianyan, Bawangdian, Fanjiahu, guojialing and Shi Lihong, and joins the Yangtze River at Jing Qing Temple, with a total length of 43. There are four tributaries: (1) Zhafang River, which originates in Zhu Hao and flows into Tucheng River at Yaojialing, with a total length of 1 1.8km, a drainage area of 22km2 and an annual runoff of 18000 m3. (2) Sanjianxi, which originates from Wangjiawan, Tucheng Township, joins the Qiaobian River at Shuangyankou, Qiaobian Town, and flows from west to east, with a total length of 16.6 kilometers, a drainage area of 58.5 square kilometers and an annual runoff of 300 million cubic meters, with a gradient of 15.8‰. (3) Shiyan River, which originates from Xin 'an Temple in Shuangyankou Village, Qiaobian Town, flows through Tianjiaheitangou, joins Shiyan Road River and Baxi River in Xincun, passes through Jianjiazui in Shiyan Village, leaves Pianyan Village to Nanqiao and joins the Qiaobian River. (4) Changling River (called Xiaoxi in ancient times) originated in Tucheng Township, passed through Quanshuixi, Changling, Zhaojiapeng, Fuan and Luojiaba, and merged into Juanqiao River at Fanjiahu in Dianjun Street. From west to east, the total length is 23. 1km, the drainage area is 40.7km2, the slope is 6.6‰, and the average flow is 65,438. Songmenxi: It originates from Daibagou of Hanjiaping and Zhujiaping in Qiaobian Town, flows through Luojiaxi, Ganxi, Songmenxi, Zhang Jiahe and Leigongtan in Shangfengjian Village, and flows into the Yangtze River from Pingshan Dam, a first-class tributary of the Yangtze River. Peng Lian River: It originates from Huolian Bay at the southern foot of Bijia Mountain, opposite to Shimen Cave in Ganxi, passes through Nanmuxi Village, Penglian Village and Meizixi Village in Dianjun Street, and joins the Yangtze River in Wulong, with a total length of 18.4km, a river slope of 1 1‰ and an average discharge of1. The river has seven seasonal tributaries, with a total length of 15 km, exceeding 2 km. Qilichong River: Originated in Qili Village, Aijia Town, it flows from west to east, with a total length of 17.8 km, a drainage area of 9 square kilometers, an annual runoff of more than 200,000 cubic meters and a drop of about 35 meters. In addition to the above rivers, there are more than 100 valley streams distributed in various towns and villages, among which the basins of Liuli River, Ziyang River, Matang River, Shuangxi River, Liulin River and Shimenchong River are relatively large. The total area of land and resources in Dianjun District is 533 square kilometers, accounting for 63% of the central city of Yichang.
