The Xiaohong Pavilion on the campus of Shanghai Jiaotong University supports students' entrepreneurial dreams.

From the performance ticketing agent to the "micro-technology" online trading platform, Wang Yixia, a doctoral student of Shanghai Jiaotong University, completed the turn from offline to online in the campus Little Red Pavilion, and obtained an angel investment of 500,000 yuan. The little red pavilion, which is only a few square meters, helped them find the first bucket of gold for starting a business.

There are four newsstands in Minhang Campus of Shanghai Jiaotong University, which have been privately contracted for a long time. In the end, the school will take back the right to operate, simply decorate the newsstand, connect the water and electricity, and turn it into a "business gas station", inviting tenders for the business team of the whole school. Four teams won from 33 entries and settled in free in April. They affectionately call these entrepreneurial bases "Little Red Pavilion".

Wang Yixia's entrepreneurial project is called "Ramat Culture", which is mainly engaged in agent ticketing. They contacted the performance hosting company and ticketing company to sell the final tickets to college students at a price of 2-7 fold, so that young people can watch the performance at a low price and make a certain profit. Relying on this, they transformed into campus cultural agents, introduced high-quality cultural performances outside the school to the campus, and pushed college dramas, singer competitions and other activities to the society.

Parents posted their children's questions in the WeChat group, and college students answered them. Each question got 1 turn to 5 yuan, and the small platform gathered strong popularity. Wang Yixia's team launched a "micro-skills" website and mobile phone application software to help campus "capable people" sell their personal skills and services, such as problem solving, translation, design and photography. Commissions and advertising fees have become new sources of profit.

Xiaohong Pavilion's entrepreneurial projects are not ordinary survival and entrepreneurship, but reflect certain scientific and technological content or serve emerging high-end. The "Green Oxygen Bar" project not only sells green succulents, but also distributes pollution-free fruits and vegetables and agricultural products, and sells derivative products such as essential oils, which are sought after by many students and even teachers.

"We focus on making' meeting' a cultural space exclusive to women, but it has also won the favor of male users." Wu Siyi, an entrepreneurial college student from the School of Communication, Shanghai Jiaotong University, said. The "Meet" project hosted by her relies on Xiaohong Pavilion to provide manicure, makeup and other services, and sells lipstick and roses on Mother's Day and Singles' Day with the help of online platforms, providing offline activities for the "Jiao Tong University Matchmaker" project hosted by her.

Xiaohong Pavilion has become a "training ground" for young entrepreneurs since it was opened to college students for one year. Hu Weiwei, deputy director of the Student Affairs Office of Shanghai Jiaotong University, said that the school will introduce the evaluation, withdrawal and rotation mechanism of entrepreneurial projects, and build six new little red kiosks to promote more college students to embark on the road of entrepreneurship.
