Zhejiang A&F University attaches great importance to discipline construction and postgraduate education. In order to strengthen management, graduate department was established in 2003, and the Graduate Work Department, Graduate Office and Discipline Construction Office of the Party Committee were established on 201/kloc-0.

As early as 1979, the school was approved to enroll graduate students independently, but it was later suspended in 1980 due to various factors. From the late 1980s, the school began to train graduate students jointly with Beijing Forestry University, Nanjing Forestry University and Zhejiang University. In 2003, the school was approved to become a master's degree authorized unit, and once again independently recruited master's students. At present, the school has a complete degree authorization system. There are 1 doctoral programs in forestry,1master programs in biology, ecology, forestry engineering, landscape architecture, urban and rural planning, forestry, agricultural resources and environment, agricultural and forestry economic management and design, 2 master programs in agricultural extension and engineering, and 46 master programs in two disciplines. At present, the school's "Bamboo Resources and Efficient Utilization" serves the national special needs doctoral talent training plan to recruit doctoral students, and 18 first-level discipline master's degree program and 14 professional degree field recruit master's students. At present, there are full-time graduate students 1243, including 3 doctoral students, 8 academic graduate students13 and 427 professional graduate students. Design is a key subject at the school level. In March 2006, he was awarded a master's degree by two disciplines, covering five research directions: art design theory and creation, digital media art theory and creation, photography theory and creation, clothing and costume design, design art and China traditional painting. In September 2007, the first batch of graduate students 14 were enrolled. 20 1 1, the design has been upgraded to the right to grant master's degrees in first-class disciplines, and there are currently more than 80 graduate students in school.

The faculty of this discipline is strong and the echelon is reasonable. There are 35 full-time teachers, including 5 professors, 2 associate professors/kloc-0, 3 doctors (including studying) and 0 masters 10 (including studying). There is a provincial basic art experimental teaching demonstration center, which consists of digital media art laboratory, pottery and sculpture laboratory, environmental art and model laboratory, photography laboratory, art copying and appreciation laboratory, clothing laboratory and so on. It has a professional laboratory area of1330m2, and the total value of instruments and equipment is more than 7 million yuan. At present, the discipline undertakes 9 1 projects, with a total funding of 3.73 million yuan, including 2 national awards and 2 provincial and ministerial awards for 1 projects of various departments in China and the State Council.
