How to use Nikon SB-22 flash

Nikon SB-22 external light portable small flash is an accessory of Nikon film camera. Please refer to the scanned version of the instruction manual in the attachment.

TTL refers to the automatic flash mode through the lens. If the fuselage supports this type of flash, it can be used like automatic exposure.

A 1, A2 is the long-distance and short-distance selection of automatic A mode, which is used for other cameras that cannot use TTL flash, such as FM2, FM 10, Seagull, etc. A 1 refers to short distance, which is used for scenes within 3m, A2 refers to long distance, which is used for scenes above 3m, and F4 aperture is fixed, so that the flasher electric eye is based on reflection.

MD, that is, rapid continuous shooting when using MD motor in flash mode.

M is full manual mode, and the aperture size is selected according to different distances. For example, the flash index is 22, F22 is used for one meter, F 16 for one meter and five meters, F 1 1 for two meters, F8 for three meters, F5.6 for four meters, F4 for five meters and F2 for six meters.
