Does product photography need front fill light?

In product photography, it is very important to clearly show the product texture and product outline. The front of the product is often the most prominent part of the product photo, so the front fill light is usually arranged when shooting to make the product photo bright and clear.

In order to make the product photos stereoscopic, there are generally at least two front fill lights, which are divided into main fill lights and auxiliary fill lights. The main fill light is mainly used to highlight the texture and brightness of the product, and the auxiliary fill light is mainly used to fill the shadow part, so that the dark part will not form dead black or too dark, and the main and auxiliary fill light can make the photo have a three-dimensional effect.

The front fill light should match the main light and auxiliary light needed for the whole shooting. When shooting, the brightness and position should be adjusted repeatedly, and the proofs should be checked on the big screen in time to see the lighting effect, so as to finally achieve satisfactory shooting effect.
