Why does round hole punching net reduce noise?

The perforated mesh has the function of eliminating sound insulation and can effectively eliminate the noise on the road. Perforated mesh soundproof walls refer to wall structures installed on the side of highways to reduce the impact of driving noise on nearby residents. Soundproof walls are also called sound barriers. The movable wall panels used in recording rooms or studios usually have sound-absorbing materials on one side and sound insulation and reflective materials on the other side.

The function of the perforated mesh soundproof wall is to reduce the crosstalk of various sound sources in the recording room, or to adjust the sound quality of the sound source through the different sound absorption characteristics of the two sides of the wall panel. Sound insulation walls can be divided according to their uses: highway sound insulation walls, high-speed sound insulation walls, and special sound insulation walls for railways and subways. Sound insulation walls are also divided into movable sound insulation walls and fixed sound insulation walls. The common fixed sound insulation walls are usually used in community sound insulation walls in residential areas, highway sound insulation walls in municipal construction, and railway sound insulation walls all use perforated mesh.
