What content does Yanfang Photo Studio mainly shoot?

Guangzhou Yanfang Photo Studio was founded by Huang Ruoyun, who ran a bank account in the late Qing Dynasty, and others.

Yanfang Photo Studio mainly takes portraits and family photos, as well as large group photos. Due to her good shooting quality, Yanfang enjoys a high reputation among Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Macao and overseas Chinese. Some customers took photos in Yanfang when they were children, and then returned to Yanfang many years later to take "family portraits" as souvenirs.

It is worth mentioning that Yanfang has also taken photos of several celebrities. Many of the group photos of Dr. Sun Yat-sen during his revolutionary activities in Guangzhou in his early years were taken by Yanfang. For example, in 1923, Mr. Sun Yat-sen took a group photo with Ms. Soong Ching Ling and others on the Yongfeng ship. Yanfang Photo Studio also enlarged a full-length portrait of Dr. Sun Yat-sen to 36 inches and carefully modified it, and hung it in the hall for people to admire.

In 1927, when Mr. Lu Xun was teaching at Sun Yat-sen University, he also went to Yanfang Photo Studio to take pictures. Lu Xun recorded this incident in his diary: September 11th, sunny. In the afternoon, Jiang Jingsan came to take pictures with Yanfang...

This precious photo is now displayed in the Guangzhou Lu Xun Museum.
