What kind of lamp is good for children's photography? Ask experts for advice.

Children's eyes are much more fragile than those of adults. If the flash is direct, it is likely to cause parents' dissatisfaction, which is really bad for children. The two methods I recommend are to aim the flash at the ceiling or wall and use the reflected light to make up the light. The other is to use a bright continuous light source of more than 500 watts to directly fill the light.

There are generally 2~3 flashlights, one near and one far, one strong and one weak, so that the face has a layered feeling and will not become a pie face. The third light can be directed at the background, but be careful not to make the background of reflective material reflect light.

The lamp position of continuous light source is a lamp, which can be cold or warm. Soften the light with a huge soft cover, aim it at the child from 35 degrees to 75 degrees above, sometimes with a reflector. If this effect can create a very warm atmosphere in a completely black background, it is a unique style of children's photography to darken the surroundings to form a high light ratio in the later stage.
