Where is the last pure cave tribe in China?

In Ziyun County, Guizhou Province, there is a place called Gejing Village, and this cave tribe is called Middle East Miao Village. You will understand when you see this. This is a stockade of Miao people, who naturally live in it. These people didn't live in this cave from the beginning. As recorded in Tao Yuanming's Peach Blossom Garden, their ancestors came to live in this cave to escape the war. There are 18 households in the cave, and there are more than 70 people in the cave.

This cave Miao village in the middle is called the last cave tribe in China. After so many years, these Miao people just moved from the cave below to the cave in the middle. No matter how the government tries to persuade them, they just don't want to come out or live in a cave, and I don't know why. Maybe caves really have a unique charm that we don't know or understand. Moreover, although these people moved into caves during the Republic of China War and never went out again, they were not backward at all.

They are just poor, unlike the residents in Tao Yuanming's Peach Blossom Garden. Once they entered the cave, they didn't know what it was like outside, or even the change of dynasties. These Miao people still know modern civilization as well as we do, and even bought TV sets because of the signals and electricity in their caves in the later period. Therefore, compared with the people in Taohuayuan, these Miao people chose to live in caves by themselves. In order to let them move out, the state also built houses for them at the foot of the mountain, but to no avail. They just won't come out.

It is also incorrect to say that they will not cancel the contract with outsiders at all. The people who live in this cave are all married by the Ming media from outside. Although there are marriages in caves, they are rare. And because there is no school in the cave, the children here have to go to school outside and only go home on weekends. The Miao people in it, following the law of sunrise and sunset, live a primitive life, which is really unimaginable.
