6.3 Install observation tube

1. Loosen the locking screw A on the optical axis seat with the equipped Allen key.

2. Install the dovetail joint on the observation tube into the upper connecting seat of the optical axis seat.

6.4 Install eyepiece

1. Remove the eyepiece dust cap.

2. Insert the required eyepiece into the eyepiece barrel.

6.5 Install the objective lens

1. Install the objective lens clockwise in order of magnification from low to high.

2. If there is still space on the objective lens converter, please install the dust cap provided by our company on the space of the converter to prevent dust from polluting the optical elements inside the microscope.

6.6 Plug in the power cord 1. Bending or winding the power cord can easily damage the power cord.

When connecting the power cord, be sure to turn the main switch to the "O" position.

3. Make sure to use a three-phase plug connected to the ground wire. Do not use this product if the power supply is not properly connected to the ground wire.

4. If the power cord is close to the lamp room or parts around the lamp room, the power cord may melt, causing the user to get an electric shock. To avoid this, please keep the power cord away from the lamp room.

When observing with incident light, connect the jack on the back of the microscope base with the wall socket with the power cord, and then connect the power cord plug of the halogen lamp box with the aviation socket on the back of the main unit (UM200i series only).

When observing with transmitted light and incident light, insert the power cord on the power box into the socket, and then connect the power cord plug of the halogen box with the aviation socket behind the power box; Connect the socket on the back of the microscope base to the wall socket with the power cord (UMT200i series only).

6.7 install the polarizing assembly a. When observing incident light

1. Insert the polarizer into the socket on the right side of the metallographic mirror.

2. Insert the analyzer into the socket on the left.

3. Rotate and adjust the polarizer to observe polarization.

When observing the transmitted light

1. Install the color filter bracket on the lighting Kohler.

2. Insert the analyzer into the socket on the left.

3. Insert the polarizer into the color filter bracket with the text face up.

4. Rotate and adjust the polarizer to observe polarization.

6.8 Install a condenser (only for observing transmitted light) 1. Turn the coarse focusing knob to raise the mechanical moving platform to the highest position; Turn the height adjustment knob of the condenser to lower it to the lowest position.

2. Loosen the condenser centering screw.

3. Install the condenser into the dovetail joint of the condenser bracket, and insert the pin on the condenser into the groove on the dovetail joint of the condenser bracket.

4. Adjust the center adjusting screw of the condenser to center the condenser.

6.9 Install color filter (only applicable to UMT200i series microscope to observe transmitted light)

1. Move the filter bracket under the condenser bracket to the left.

2. Hold the excircle of the color filter and put it into the color filter holder.

3. Move the filter holder back to the optical path.

6. Installation of10 microscope video system (optional)

1. This part is used to take microscope photos for you, and can be installed selectively according to your needs.

2. Using an Allen wrench, loosen the interface fixing screw on the third eye observation tube and remove the dust cover.

3. Connect the C-type interface of the camera with the C-type interface on the third eye observation tube, and firmly connect the camera with the C-type interface.

4. Tighten the screws.

When you are not using the camera, please take it off and keep it damp-proof. Cover the C connector on the third eye observation tube to prevent dust.

6. Please refer to the instruction manual of the relevant camera for the usage method and circuit connection of the camera.

6. 1 1 Installation of microscope digital photography system (optional) 1. This part is for your use in microscope photography, and can be installed selectively according to your needs.

2. Using an Allen wrench, loosen the interface fixing screw on the third eye observation tube and remove the dust cover.

3. Connect the digital camera interface to the digital camera. Please be careful not to use too much force when connecting, so as not to damage the camera.

4. Connect the connected digital camera and the whole interface to the C interface of the camera eyepiece of the three-eye observation tube.

5. Loosen the locking screw of the camera eyepiece of the three-eye observation tube and adjust the direction of the digital camera (adjust the direction according to the user's habits). Adjust the rear locking screw.

6. When not using the digital camera, please take it out and keep it damp-proof. Cover the C connector on the third eye observation tube to prevent dust.

7. For the usage and circuit connection of the digital camera, please refer to the instruction manual of the relevant digital camera.

Seven. Operation warning: For safety reasons, the power cord has been grounded together with the microscope base, between the power cord and the microscope power base.

Other transfer connections cannot be used, which will invalidate the grounding function; Always use the power cord provided by Opal Optoelectronics. If the designated power cord is not used, the safety and performance of the product will not be guaranteed. It is forbidden to insert metal objects into the vent of the microscope stand, otherwise it will lead to electric shock, personal injury and equipment damage. Don't block the vent under the frame, otherwise it will cause overheating or fire.

2. Turn on the power of the microscope through the power control switch on the back of the microscope.

3. Adjust the light intensity adjustment knob to make the lighting system produce appropriate light intensity.

4. Adjust the size of the aperture stop to achieve the best image contrast in the field of view of the eyepiece.

Note: knobs in UM200i series are knobs for adjusting the intensity of incident light, and knobs in UMT200i series are knobs for adjusting the intensity of transmitted light.

7. 1.2 rapid lifting of mechanical mobile platform (only applicable to UM200i series) 1. Loosen the quick adjustment screw of the mechanical moving platform with the equipped Allen wrench.

2. Grasp the fixed bracket of the mechanical moving platform and move the platform up and down according to the height of the sample.

3. After adjusting the position, tighten the quick adjustment screw of the mechanical moving platform. 7. 1.3 placing the sample Place the observed sample on the platform and move the sample directly below the objective lens.

7. 1.4 Screw the 10X objective lens into the optical path and adjust the focusing handwheel.

1. Rotate the objective lens converter so that the objective lens of 10X enters the optical path and is in the working position.

2. Slowly turn the coarse focusing handwheel to raise the workbench and observe the eyepiece field of view until the image outline of the sample appears in the eyepiece field of view.

3. Focus the sample with the fine focusing handwheel until the image is clear.

4. Adjust the height of the coarse and fine focus devices to a position suitable for the operator. Turn the torque adjustment ring to the torque of the coarse focusing handwheel, so that the lens barrel can be adjusted by. 1.5 to adapt to the adjustment of the pupil distance and visual acuity A.

1. When observing through the eyepiece, adjust the observation tube until the images of the left and right fields are completely consistent. At this time, the value indicated by the indicator point is the pupil distance of the eye.

Write down your pupil distance, and you can adjust it quickly when you use it next time.

B visual compensation adjustment

When observing the transmitted light

1. Image the sample with 10X objective lens.

2. Lower the field stop so that the field stop is basically imaged in the eyepiece field of the microscope.

3. Adjust the handwheel of the condenser, adjust the adjusting screw of the condenser, and adjust the field stop to the center of the eyepiece field of view.

4. Slowly open the field stop until the image of the field stop completely exits the field of view.

5. Adjusting the aperture stop properly can increase the contrast of the field of view and increase the depth of focus, and its size is set to about 70-80% of the aperture stop of the objective lens.

6. The objective lens with different magnification can be set according to the aperture mark of the condenser.

7. 1.7 Screw the required objective lens into the optical path to focus the sample.

X. maintenance of microscope 10. 1 notes 1. Wipe off all fingerprints and oil stains on the exposed glass surface with absorbent gauze. Please wipe it with gauze soaked in a mixture of 75% ether and 25% ethanol.

Because organic solvents such as ether and ethanol are flammable and explosive, they must be used with care. Ensure that these chemicals are away from fire sources or places where electric sparks may occur. Remember to use these chemicals only in well-ventilated rooms.

2. Do not use organic solvents to wipe the external surface of the microscope (except glass parts). If cleaning is needed, please wipe it with a soft wet cloth dipped in diluted neutral solvent.

3. Do not disassemble the non-detachable part of the microscope.

4. When not in use, please turn the main switch to the "O" position to ensure that the lamp holder is completely cooled, and then cover the microscope with a dust cover.

10.2 warning: the wire plug must be disconnected before replacing the bulb. The glass shell of the light bulb will be very hot. Do not replace the light bulb until it is completely cooled. When replacing the bulb, do not directly touch the bulb glass shell. If it touches the bulb glass shell, the surface of the bulb must be cleaned with lens paper and mixed cleaning solution before installation.

When observing the falling light

In the configuration of this product, only the lighting lamp needs to be replaced. (The specified 12V and 50W halogen bulbs must be replaced)

1. Please disconnect the instrument before replacing it.

2. Remove the socket head cap screw at the top of the light box with a special socket head wrench, and then remove the light box shell.

3. After the bulb is completely cooled, carefully hold the bulb with lens cloth and take it out of the lamp holder.

4. Wrap the new bulb with lens cloth and put it on the lamp holder. Insert the lamp holder and push it to the bottom.

5. Do not turn on the illumination power of the microscope before the light box shell is safely closed.

When observing the transmitted light

1. Grasp the handle of the lamp room and pull out the lamp holder on the right side of the microscope base.

If you want to replace the light bulb, please pull the burnt light bulb out of the lamp holder.

3. Wrap the bulb with lens cloth. Insert the bulb pin completely into the lamp holder.

4. Push forward the lamp room.

10.3 power requirements warning: electric shock hazard. After the microscope bottom cover is removed, dangerous electrical components will be exposed, which will lead to injury or death once contacted. If maintenance is required, please apply for maintenance service from qualified personnel.

Power supply voltage and frequency: 100-240VAC, 47-63HZ, and the maximum input power is 55W.

Range of environmental conditions: 1. Below 2000 meters above sea level. 2. Working system: continuous operation.

3. Indoor use.

4. The temperature is 5oC-40oC, and the relative humidity does not exceed 80%.

5. Pollution level: Level 2 (according to IEC60664).

10.4 fuse replacement warning: please disconnect the instrument before replacing the fuse.

This product is equipped with a fuse next to the hole of the power socket.

Replacement steps:

1. Turn off the power switch of the product and unplug the power cord on the back of the product.

2. Insert a 200X3.5mm screwdriver into the fuse box, gently pry it out and push out the fuse box.

3. Remove the fuse box, take out the damaged fuse and replace it with a new one.

4. Turn the fuse box back to the power socket and plug in the power cord.
