Change the angle first, then change the angle!

There is a famous scenic spot in Changsha: Dongfanghong Square, which was built during the Cultural Revolution. There stands a statue of Chairman Mao here, which is very magnificent. You must visit it when you come to Changsha. The panorama here is as follows:

(Screenshot to Baidu map, the same below)

If you want to shoot a portrait of Chairman Mao, how should you shoot it? Most people will choose frontal shooting, which is understandable, because it is the best proof of their "trip". But the photos taken from this angle are basically the same, and it is easy to become "tasteless" travel photos.

What should we do at this time? We should walk around the square first to see where the whole square has a more unique perspective, and then I found this place:

It is located on the right side of the square, where trees are lush and there is a feeling of stars arching the moon. I tried several angles:

The problem with this angle is that the elements of the picture are too complicated, and the crowd below, the slogan behind and the irregular branches have not achieved the desired effect.

The picture elements of this angle are much simpler, but the main body of the sculpture is blocked by leaves, which is not suitable, so I took a few steps forward and tried an angle:

The stars bow to the moon.

From this perspective, I used a more exaggerated visual proportion to highlight the prosperity of trees, and made great efforts to create a sense of encirclement and highlight the status of sculpture.
