Rivers near Sanxingdui site in Guanghan
Sanxingdui ancient site is located in the south bank of Yahe River in the northwest of Guanghan City, Sichuan Province. Duck River, also known as Juanjiang River, is named after thousands of geese and migratory birds (commonly known as wild ducks) from the north spend the winter here every winter. Yahe wetland is one of the most important wintering places for all kinds of waterfowl in Chengdu Plain. Its quantity and variety are rich, and it has its unique and irreplaceable position in biodiversity protection and landscape construction.
