Director Bird's "Wanderer" Photo Exhibition and Poster Cover/Wang Ming's "Wanderer" Picture Album Characters

20 10 February, China's sixth-generation avant-garde director Bird focused on the living state and emotional state of the younger generation, and planned to make a film "Wandering Son", which is in the same strain as the Beijing hybrid 17 years ago. Before shooting, Bird held a photo exhibition in Beijing in early February, and Wang Ming was one of the leading characters of 10 selected by director Bird. "If you have a restless heart, the more restless the better." The idea of "Wandering Son" directed by Bird comes from "Beijing Bastard". At that time, he saw the power of young people to vent freely in this city, and the music of singers Cui Jian, Dou Wei and He Yong constructed some vague story clues. Twenty years later, that generation is gone. What are the new generation of young people doing? How do those born after 80s live in this huge city? As a new generation of actors, Wang Ming participated in the shooting of "Youzi" photography exhibition in Bird with his unruly personality, and his works became the cover image of the poster of "Youzi Photography Exhibition in Bird".

20 10 On August 29th, the book edition of Bird's new book Bird: You Have Seeds was held in Beijing. This is the second ambitious step of Bird's "Uzzi" work plan after the "Uzzi: Zhang Yuanxin Photography Exhibition" held in Beijing Ullens Center for Contemporary Art at the beginning of the year. At the launch of the new book, dozens of "courageous young people" including Li Xinyun, Kong Ergou, Daoxin Shi and Wang Ming gathered together to talk with Bird about the entry and exit of the post-80s generation, the multiple choices of life, the confusion and pursuit on the long March of new rock and roll, and the understanding and thinking of self-identity of the post-80s generation. In the book "Wandering in Bird", Wang Ming 10' s photographic works with the theme of "youth" and their self-reported youth stories are included in detail.
