The Historical Evolution of Meicun Senior High School in Jiangsu Province

Jiangsu Meicun Senior High School was founded in 19 13, with a history of more than 100 years. At that time, there was a stir in Wuxi county government, which renamed "No.2 junior middle school in Beixia township" as "No.4 higher primary school in Wuxi county". 1980 was approved as the first batch of key middle schools in Jiangsu province.

1985 was approved by the Admissions Office of Jiangsu Province as a key middle school that can be sent to colleges and universities nationwide without test.

199 1 was accepted by Jiangsu provincial education commission and confirmed as "qualified key middle school in Jiangsu province".

1In July, 1998, with the approval of Jiangsu Provincial Education Commission, Wuxi Meicun Middle School was renamed as "Jiangsu Meicun Senior High School".

1999 accepted and passed the evaluation and acceptance of "National Model Ordinary High School" by Jiangsu Provincial Education Commission.

In 2004, it was awarded as "four-star ordinary high school in Jiangsu Province".

The school was rebuilt in 2006, and the new campus covers an area of 326 mu.
