The Secret Land Lost in the World: The Last Pure Land in the Snowy Plateau —— Travel Notes of Lianbao Yeze in Aba Prefecture during the Spring Festival

Snow-capped mountains, grasslands, glaciers, forests, lakes, prayer flags and temples are our first impressions of the pure land and snowy plateau in Tibetan areas. In fact, the scope of Tibetan areas is not limited to the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. Gannan in Gansu, Shangri-La in Yunnan and western Sichuan are all areas where Tibetans have lived for generations.

Especially in western Sichuan, there is not only the Tibetan culture that has been passed down to this day, but also the cultural blending of other ethnic groups, mixed with the noise of towns and villages. The snow-capped mountains here have a purity that shocks the soul. This is the secret place left by God and the place where the soul wakes up.

Before I went to Lianbao Yeze, Aba Prefecture, I had explored the legend of King Gelsall many times. This Spring Festival, I persuaded my parents to go to Aba, a pure land. This is the lowest secret place in western Sichuan, the back garden of the gods, and the ancient battlefield where Gesar fought and galloped.

D 1: Chengdu-Dujiangyan-Zhegu Mountain-Aba County (445KM).

On the second day of New Year's Day, I was obsessed with trivial matters and didn't start until noon 12. I took my parents and made an appointment with photographer Xiao Zhao, starting from Chengdu and going upstream from Minjiang River. Today's plan is to climb Zhegu Mountain, see the real Liangzi and chase the sunset in Manzatang Wetland.

Now the Marvin Expressway can go directly to miyaluo. Two hours later, I have crossed the partridge mountain and continued to cross the Liangzi of Chazhen. At this time, the Hongyuan prairie, the days of heavy snow and the colorful grassland have already been covered with white clothes, and flocks of cattle and sheep are dotted with the tranquility of the grassland. The distant mountains and valleys have long been frozen, magnificent and solemn, a little more quiet and bleak.

Turn right from Longqiba, that is, set foot on G347 National Road in Aba County. In the afternoon, when the last touch of red on the horizon fell into darkness, we successfully boarded the Xueshan Pass. After the snow, there are more than ten peaks in Xiaguang. The mountains are green, white and red. Seen from the sky, snow-capped mountains and ice peaks stand in the distant sky, showing layers of red in the afterglow of the sunset, like pieces of pink cakes.

After enjoying the sunset quietly, before the endless darkness swallowed up the earth, I went down the mountain and went straight to Aba County, found a good hotel, leafed through the collection of folk stories in Aba County, fell asleep wearily and didn't say a word all night.

D2: Aba County-Lianbao Yeze-Langyi Temple-Aba County (80km)

Lianbaoye, located in the southeast of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, is a branch of the southern section of Bayan Kala. It is located between Aba County, Sichuan Province and jiuzhi county and banma county, Qinghai Province, with a total area of about 800 square kilometers, and Aba County scenic area is about 500 square kilometers.

The Tibetan word "Lianbao Yeze" translated into Chinese is the jade peak of dignity, which means Stone Mountain. The mountains here are full of masculinity, and the cold cliffs are connected into a huge and majestic stone wall with a metallic luster, which is the first of the sacred mountains in Amdo. The highest elevation in China is 5 14 1 m, and the average elevation of mountain peaks is more than 4000m. It is a famous mountain in Tibetan areas, which makes many people flinch!

This is the ancient battlefield where King Gelsall fought, and many stories about King Gelsall are still circulating. Surrounded by mountains, stalagmites and majestic and deep lakes, they set each other off and become interesting, blending femininity, fortitude, heroism and beauty.

At eight o'clock in the morning, while Aba County was still awake, we set off by car. An hour later, we arrived at the gate of the scenic spot and began to climb the mountain.

Lianbao Yeze Scenic Area is a long valley, about tens of kilometers, which spirals up along the mountain road and goes deep into the valley. On both sides are glittering snow peaks, which pass through layers of peaks and reach the first Haizi. I saw a huge sapphire inlaid on the frozen lake in the distance. It is a plastic and transparent light blue polycrystalline ice body, which is made of granular snow. Under the polishing of time, through the refraction of sunlight, it conveys the refreshing beauty.

At that moment, I seemed to hear the call from Northrend. Arthas turned out to be Prince Nordanren of the human kingdom. Keep going and drive to the deepest part of the canyon, which is the parking lot of the scenic spot. Looking up, I saw a tall and steep mountain suddenly standing in front of me, with towering cliffs and steep cliffs. On the left and right sides of this mountain, there are several other peaks confronting him, which is quite shocking, much like Middle-earth in The Lord of the Rings. The mountains are steep, the forests are steep and the rocks are rugged.

Follow the wooden plank road to Zhaga 'ercuo, which is the most famous lake in Shishan. It lies under the cliff. This precipice is like a huge stone wall across the lake, and the momentum of an isolated city bursts out, and behind the lake is a precipice "wall" as long as a sharp knife edge. The lake has frozen and all the fish have sunk into the water. The animals and plants here are sleeping quietly, and two lines of footprints have gone away, breaking his tranquility.

Looking at the calm ice, the memory of the tide reappeared in front of my eyes. In king of comedy, the scene of Stephen Chow shouting "Work hard, struggle" at the sea has been hovering in my mind. Life is like a road. You need to walk patiently, maybe you will walk out of the bustling scenery in the desolation.

According to the chronicle of Lianbaoyeze Mountain, Lianbaoyeze area is the ancient battlefield of King Gelsall's fighting, and traces of King Gelsall's fighting are left everywhere on the mountain peaks. Calm down, as if you can still hear the loud hiss, and you can also see the figure of King Gelsall who fought bravely for the freedom and peace of the tribe. In this brave and fearless battle, there is a trace of iron and blood tenderness hidden.

I remembered a folk story I saw in the hotel last night.

Legend has it that three beautiful birds can often be seen in the area of Lianbao Nozawa. They accompany each other and fly proudly. Their cries were so sad, as if they were pouring out their inner pain. The local people said, "These three birds are the embodiment of King Gelsall blacksmith Aze, the embodiment of Miss Mei Jie, the daughter of the local mountain god, and the embodiment of their children." How sad is this story?

According to legend, when King Gelsall came to Zeshan in Lianbaoye, he found that the mountain was contiguous, with lush grass and famous gods. There are many slaves in Man Ku's family, but only one daughter, named Mei Jie, is beautiful in appearance and charming in temperament. The mountain god who proposed stepped on the threshold and she didn't like any of them.

There was a blacksmith named Azeri in the team of King Gelsall Crusaders. He is honest and skilled. Everyone called him "Little Blacksmith, Aze". King Gelsall found that this area was full of hot springs and rich in ironmaking raw materials, so he arranged for Azeri, the blacksmith, to camp here and make weapons for him. In order to prevent Azeri from stealing iron and being lazy, King Gelsall arranged for the mountain god to supervise the blacksmith, while the mountain god specially sent his daughter Mei Jie to the blacksmith's shop to monitor.

I didn't expect this Miss Mei Jie to like the little blacksmith Azeri, because he is strong, energetic, kind-hearted and honest. Father sent her to see the little blacksmith, and Miss Wang ran to the blacksmith's shed happily every day. She always likes to take Azeri's hammer for a ride. Even the fiend pliers, she also wants to give him a hand; While the iron is hot, I have to pull the bellows from time to time. The mountain god sent servants to bring lunch, and the blacksmith got black tea and rough rice cakes; White milk cake and tea were sent to the young lady. Miss doesn't want to keep these good things for herself, so she must eat them with the blacksmith. In this way, after a long time, two people fell in love, conceived in October and gave birth to a lovely boy.

When the mountain god learned about it, his lungs would explode with anger. He never dreamed that his daughter had violated the rules of her ancestors, forgotten her identity, fell in love with a black-boned mortal blacksmith, gave birth to a kind of untouchable, and humiliated the face of the noble mountain god. He kept his daughter Mei Jie at home and beat and scold her every day. Miss Mei Jie is a stubborn girl. She didn't think she had done anything wrong at all and refused to apologize to Abba Mountain God. On a bright moonlight night, she carried her son on her back, quietly fled with all her jewelry, and ran to the blacksmith's house, ready to fly away, and fled to the rich agricultural area next to Ajugang River outside the mountain to spend a good time with people and God.

Unexpectedly, however, on the way to escape, they were caught by the housekeeper and thugs sent by the mountain god. They beat Azeri half to death and threw him into Zagarco. When Miss Mei Jie arrived sadly, the body had sunk to the bottom of the lake.

Sad Miss Mei Jie stood by the lake and shouted, "Azeri, Azeri! Why did you leave in such a hurry? So busy? Wait for me! Wait for me and the children! " After that, she threw jewelry into the hot spring lake, otter robe, fox hat and satin clothes into the hot spring lake. Then, holding her son, she jumped into the hot spring lake together. Soon, the blacksmith's body floated up, and the couple and the child embraced each other. Music sounded on the lake, and golden light shone from the water. Three beautiful birds flew out of the golden light and circled and sang in the depths of the sacred mountain of Lianbaoyeze. This is the bird called "Yellow Duck" that people see today, also known as Plateau Yuanyang or Plateau love birds.

Nowadays, people say that Mei Jie and the blacksmith Aze have become immortals on Lianbaoye Mountain, the love birds-Yellow Duck on Lianbaoye Mountain Gully Lake. Therefore, Tibetans who live and multiply on the plateau in northwest Sichuan have never killed yellow ducks until today.

With emotion, I packed my things and went down the mountain, planning to visit Momo Temple around Aba County. There are more than 20 temples around Aba County. These primitive Tibetan settlements and magnificent Tibetan Buddhist temples are the most devout beliefs of Tibetans. There are many pagodas and monks, such as Gelden Temple, Langyi Temple, Seg Temple, Dege Temple and Gemo Temple. And the temple buildings are row upon row, which are particularly sacred against the blue sky. The Gemo Temple visited this time, also known as Hui Yuan Temple, is one of the three major monasteries of Gelug Sect of Tibetan Buddhism in Aba Prefecture, Sichuan Province, and one of the branches of Labuleng Temple, one of the six major monasteries of Yellow Religion.

Unfortunately, due to the epidemic, the temple is not open and can only be seen from a distance. Later, we climbed the hillside on the edge of the county town and overlooked this quiet plateau town. The winter sun shines warmly on the vast land here, and the harvested barley stubble is still yellowing in the field. At first glance, all over the mountains and plains are yellow grass, yellow, and groups of yaks are eating grass roots leisurely on the hillside. Crimson temples and sacred white pagodas burn like incense burners on this grassland, giving it a religious dignity. Fluttering prayer flags and colorful Mani flags are dancing souls in this vast world.

At this time, the setting sun is gradually setting in the west, and the faint red color sets Phnom Penh on the peaks and clouds, and paints Aba County with charming colors. I drove after sunset, but I couldn't catch up with it. I watched the sunset gradually fall into the boundless twilight and returned to the hotel with some regret.

D3: Aba County-Hongyuan County-Tao Ping Qiangzhai-Chengdu (445km).

Yesterday, I had so much fun that I didn't notice that there was something wrong with the car. As soon as the chassis was started, there was a bang like firecrackers in the distance. Because it is the fourth day of the Lunar New Year, all the temples are in a meeting, and they have searched all over the city but have not found a place to repair their cars. After a long struggle, I gritted my teeth and ventured to Hongyuan to repair the car. I didn't expect to get out of the bumpy streets of the county as soon as I got on the road, but the car was normal and narrowly missed.

With the beautiful legends of Azerbaijan and Mei Jie, we are on our way home.

On my way back, I passed Qiangzhai in Tao Ping, and I didn't accept tickets for the Spring Festival. I went shopping on a whim.

Qiangzhai in Tao Ping is located in Taopingxiang, beside the Zagunao River in Lixian County. The stockade was built in BC11year, and Guangrou County was established here in the Western Han Dynasty. As a pass and defense zone under the jurisdiction of the county, Tao Ping has always existed, hidden in the mountains, surrounded by stone walls and towers, and connected with houses. Known as the most mysterious "Oriental Castle".

This old castle was used by Qiang people to resist powerful enemies thousands of years ago. Nowadays, the smoke of war has already dispersed, and only towers and houses standing in the wind are silently watching in the vicissitudes of history, much like Qiang people, heroic and introverted, simple and indifferent. This maze-like roadway, cobweb-like underground waterway and huge totem standing in the square all make people feel a kind of heroic spirit, galloping freely between heaven and earth. ...
