Fingerprints do great harm to the pigment coating of lenses and should be removed as soon as possible. When not in use, it is best to cover the lens to reduce cleaning times.

Solar thermal protection

The camera cannot be directly exposed to high temperature. Don't forget the camera in the car burnt by the sun. If the camera must bask in the sun (for example, when you are on the beach), use colored sand-proof towels or shielding tools with tin foil to avoid the light. Don't use black tools, because black will only absorb light and make the situation worse. When indoors, don't put the camera in a heater or other hot or humid places.

Adding a matte color filter is beneficial to prevent fogging and compression without affecting shooting.

Travel protection

Protect the lens with the lens cover, put small equipment and accessories in the bag and hand, and separate them with certain soft objects to ensure that they will not collide with each other. Especially the easily damaged equipment, it should be wrapped with a layer of soft things. When flying, the damage degree of metal detector is slightly worse than that of baggage detector. If necessary, manual inspection can be required to minimize X-ray damage.

Camera preservation
