Early in the morning, after the newsstand, a photo of a little boy caught my interest. So I hurried back and picked up the magazine.

This picture appeared on the cover of the 24th issue of Reader in 2008, with the title "Untitled". It's a photographic work, signed Gordon Underwood.

The white background contrasts with the skin color of the little boy's dark coffee (I don't think it is black, dark coffee may be more accurate), and the visual impact is very strong. The clear and transparent eyes of the little boy seem to have brought another shocking impact against the background of his dark coffee body. Eyes staring at every viewer, the whiteness of eyes is indescribable, and the facial expression reveals a kind of calm. From the picture, I read health, hope, longing, persistence, and a pure heart.

I don't know much about photography, but by intuition and my own perception, I confirm that this is a very good photographic work. Although we can't clearly understand what kind of feelings the photographer wants to express through this painting, the title of the work "Untitled" seems to indicate that the author doesn't want to confine it to a fixed situation, but hopes that the viewer can see his various mirror images through the eyes of the little boy.

Maybe, I'm lucky, because I'm doomed. You know, I was not a loyal reader of a magazine before, but from that day on, because of it, I became a loyal reader of Reader.

A picture, the first time I read the content, I understood the meaning.
