What mode does the camera take close-ups?
1, single lens AF
This is a common setting when the distance between you and the subject is fixed. Aim at the camera, and then its autofocus sensor illuminates the subject. Click the shutter button to activate autofocus. After determining the focal length, the camera sends a signal in the viewfinder to stop focusing. As long as the button is half pressed, the focal length will be locked at the current position. Now you can take a picture (even if the AF sensor is no longer facing the subject), and then press the shutter button completely to take a picture. Usually, if the camera doesn't get the right focus, it can't shoot. This is called focal length priority.
2, continuous autofocus (ContinuousAF)
This is usually used in sports or action photography, when the subject is constantly moving (for photographers). Place the autofocus sensor on the subject and press the shutter button halfway. As long as the shutter button remains half pressed, the camera will continue to focus. When the button is fully pressed, the camera will take a picture, whether the image is in perfect focus or not. This is called release priority.
Continuous autofocus can keep fast-moving skateboarders focused.
3. Manual focusing (MF) In some cases, autofocus is not very good, such as the scene is too dark, the subject lacks a clear contrast area, shooting through a cage, or the subject moves too fast or irregularly. In these cases, manual focusing may be more effective.
Tips for shooting close-ups of conference figures: mode selection (shutter priority? Aperture priority? )F? Value, aperture value? Wait! Who can teach me?
You can choose large aperture priority.
Meetings are usually held indoors, and the light is not particularly good. In addition, shooting close-ups of people with blurred backgrounds can simplify the background and highlight the main body, so the maximum aperture value is generally used.
If the shutter is too slow, the subject may move and it is difficult to shoot by hand. If the shutter speed is not fast enough, increase the ISO.
S5IS photoreceptor is only 1/2.5 inches, and the noise reduction ability of DIGICIII is not very high, so it is recommended not to use too high ISO value. Try not to exceed ISO400. Sometimes a little underexposure is acceptable, and it is easy to brighten up later.
If the lighting of the site is poor, add it to ISO800. If the light is poor, you can only consider using a flash. However, the flash index of this camera is generally not particularly strong, and it is only effective in a relatively short distance, which makes the photos stiff and dull.
As for the focal length, 80- 135mm (equivalent focal length) is the best, and there is no perspective blur. Just a little longer. It is always difficult to get together and take close-ups in front of others in meetings.

Shooting skills:
1. Take the long focal length lens as the main shooting lens (about 250mm lens for 120 camera or about 135 lens for135 camera), and take its short depth of field function.
2. According to the principle of portrait formula composition method, close-up, half-length, seven-point or full-body composition can be taken directly, about 5-8 steps away from the subject.
3. During exposure, according to the characteristics of portrait photography, the aperture compensation of 1 ~ 2 should be turned on to make the facial texture brighter. The light on people's faces is soft and bright, which is the focus of this kind of photos.
4. In order to create bright eyes, it is best to place a reflector or whiteboard in front of the portrait to make the eyes reflect bright spots.
5. When printing, it is best to follow the post-processing skills and soft focus treatment to completely soften the skin and make the whole photo soft.
6. You have to change the shape or props of the theme characters, otherwise the visual focus of the photos will remain unchanged, and the shortcomings of composition, depth of field and shooting techniques will be exposed.
7. Design the modeling style of the theme portrait, choose the scene suitable for the overall performance, and do a good job in the preliminary theme and scene design.
8. Usually, we should cultivate the ability of aesthetic composition, and draw up the overall composition plan between the theme portrait and the scene when shooting. Don't fall into the stereotype of portrait formula composition, take close-ups
9. Analyze the application of lighting on the spot, fuse the main body of the portrait to be photographed by addition and subtraction, and control the outstanding performance of lighting in the scene environment without falling into the common problems of general commemorative photos.
10. Control the length of depth of field, create a touching and advanced depth of field performance, and don't fall into the messy mode of ordinary life photos.
1 1. Choose the most suitable photo opportunity to press the shutter, grasp the vitality of the portrait and the artistic sense of the scene, and take a perfect portrait with scenery.
12. The most important thing to take this kind of photo is the choice of negative. As long as the black and white negative is used, the tone of this photo can be printed.
13. In the process of shooting, we should pay attention to the color of the background and props, especially the gray system, because too black and white background, props or clothes will make the photos produce all-black or all-white reaction when they are developed, which is the common sense of shooting black and white photos. Only when the gray scale system is suitable, the single tone of color printing overprint will have rich hierarchical performance.
14. When taking black-and-white photos, you can get beautiful colors by controlling the exposure correctly. Different from the color negative film shooting method commonly used by ordinary portraits, more than two exposures are often used to compensate. Only by correct exposure can we avoid the loss of saturated sound.
15. There is also a film produced by Ilford on the market, which can be directly developed into color without manual development of black and white liquid medicine, and the shooting effect is the same, which is a relatively convenient film.
16. After shooting and developing the negative, you can develop pure black-and-white photos through the black-and-white development process. Or through the printing process of color printing, a single-tone photo is printed.

How to take close-up portraits?
1. Side backlight close-up portrait shooting
A close-up of a portrait shot by side backlight, a small range of high-light areas, especially the bright edge, has become the finishing touch, highlighting the face of the character and creating a hazy aesthetic feeling for the picture. Of course, on the front of the picture, you still need a reflector to fill the light.
2. Intentional virtual focus
When you deliberately focus on the close-up, the audience will think more because of the hazy picture. Because almost everyone dare not say that they know themselves well. I am always hazy in my heart.
3. Don't look at the portrait close-up of the camera
The eyes are the windows of the soul, especially when shooting close-ups of portraits, the eyes account for a larger proportion in the picture and are easier to stand out, so we should pay more attention to the shooting of eyes.
4. Shake the camera to take close-ups in an abstract style.
Abstract style close-up is a more fashionable shooting method recently. In fact, it is to set a lower shutter speed and then shake the camera while pressing the shutter. The effect of shooting is closely related to the speed, direction and shutter speed of shaking. So you need to try many times to get a good picture.
5. Close-up of portraits with strong sense of picture segmentation
Maybe you think that close-up portraits should show the five senses of the characters and should not cover too much. But art is like this. The more extreme and exaggerated, the more likely it is to stimulate the viewer.
Step 6 use props to distort the face
Of course, most close-up photos of portraits are undistorted, but if you want to shoot something new, you can do the opposite and deliberately distort the faces of people with some magnifying glasses or wide-angle lenses.
