The Life of King Bhumibol of Thailand

bhumibol adulyadej was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA on December 5, 1927 (when his father was studying medicine at Harvard University). He was the younger brother of former Thai King Rama VIII ananta and lost his father at the age of two. In 1933, she moved to Lausanne, Switzerland with her mother and studied science at Lausanne University. Returning to China in 1945. On June 9, 1946, after the sudden assassination of his brother King ananta Marton, he succeeded to the throne and was crowned King Rama IX of Thailand in May 195. In June of the same year, he went to Lausanne to continue his studies and returned to China in December 1951.
