What do VR entrepreneurial designers mainly learn?

First, what design needs to be done first?

In order of priority, it is divided into four parts:

1, workflow, what each role in the team needs to pay attention to and division of labor.

2. Use of design tools.

3. User research methods and user demand management.

4. Summarize and establish design principles (design specifications).

As shown in the figure below:

A clear division of responsibilities

Here, I will explain the work content of several main links, and I will elaborate on the specific content of each link in a later article.

Product designer

Main tasks:

1, functional design.

2. Scenario planning (there are several scenarios).

3.VR scene construction (scene plan).

Deliverables: requirement design specification, scenario planning specification and scenario planning.

Specific content:

1, functional design. What are the functions to be realized by the product, and what is the business logic behind the functions?

2. Scene planning. Divide different scene lists and output the scene lists.

3.VR scene construction. Describe in detail the functions and business logic that each scene needs to realize, and draw a 2D scene plan, which should include all the objects in the current scene.

How to establish a complete VR design process

Functional design list+scenario list+scenario description = output complete document (product requirement specification)

Interaction designer

Main tasks:

1, 3D scene optimization design.

2. Interactive process design.

Main tools: C4D, Axure.

Specific content:

1. Design and optimize the 3D scene, and build the 3D scene prototype (C4D completion).

2. Optimize the 3D scene.

3. Design the interaction design process and complete the prototype document of interaction design (directly take a screenshot with C4D and add an interaction description to Axure).

String the scenes together separately to complete the interactive prototype.

Interface designer &; Artistic background

2D draft artistic concept: drawing artistic scenes, characters and other draft concepts.

FUI: mainly for the design and output of FUI plane resources.

3D resources &; exploit

According to the design draft and art settings, output 3D resources to the subsequent development process.

Finally, the complete function of the product is realized through development.
