Hezhou College (Hezhou? University) is a public full-time undergraduate college organized by the People's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Located at the junction of Guangxi, Hunan and Guangdong provinces, Hezhou is the first longevity prefecture-level city in China and the world's longevity capital.
The predecessor of Hezhou College is Guangxi Provincial Pingle Normal School, which was founded in 1943. 1957 changed its name to Hexian Normal School in May. 1July 1983 was renamed Wuzhou Normal University. 1March 1988 was renamed Wuzhou Regional Education College. 1994, Wuzhou Normal University was established. In February 2006, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, Wuzhou Normal College was upgraded to Hezhou College.
The school has two campuses, east and west, covering an area of 1294.438+0 mu. The total value of teaching and research instruments and equipment is 252 million yuan, and the paper library has 65.438+0.77 million copies. There are 53 undergraduate majors and 8 junior college (higher vocational) majors/kloc-0. It covers engineering, science, literature, education, art, economy, management, law, agriculture and history. It has five national first-class undergraduate specialty construction sites, such as communication engineering, food science and engineering, tourism management, environmental design, radio and television editing and directing, 1 1 autonomous region-level first-class undergraduate specialty construction sites, two Guangxi first-class discipline construction projects, food science and engineering, civil engineering and other five Guangxi undergraduate colleges and universities. At present, there are faculty 1603, full-time teachers 1278, teachers with master's and doctoral degrees 1050, 389 teachers with associate senior titles or above, more than 60 tutors for master's students and 7 tutors for doctoral students.
