A Connecticut bride died from an aggressive form of breast cancer just 18 hours after exchanging vows with her groom. Heather Mosher was diagnosed with breast cancer in December 2016, the same day her boyfriend Dave Mosher proposed to her. The two met in a swing dance group in Hartford, Connecticut, and quickly fell in love.

"I originally planned to propose to her on December 23." Dave, the 35-year-old groom, told the media. "That morning, she said she found a lump in her chest, and we went to the doctor. A biopsy confirmed that Heather did have breast cancer, but that didn't stop Dave from proposing. "Now more than ever she needed to know that she would not be alone," he recalled.
