Neonatal vision screening time

3-5 days after birth

Neonatal vision screening is generally carried out within 3 ~ 5 days after birth.

6 months

Pediatricians need to conduct head-eye coordination and all possible eye examinations for all children who have received routine outpatient examinations for 6 months. From 6 months to 3 years old, photographic screening may be able to find early amblyopia and other risk factors.

3-5 years old

Children of this age should have a pediatrician for vision screening every year. And check whether the eyes may have developmental defects that may affect future education.

6 years old or above

After the child is 6 years old, he should be examined every other year. These tests measure children's vision and evaluate their functions in all aspects of vision.
