As the most basic artistic element of film and television, what does the image contain?

The image in film and television mainly includes two content elements, the first is the lens element, and the second is the modeling element. As we all know, the shooting of images needs the help of camera lens, so the first element involved is the lens element. To understand the basic shooting techniques of a film, we need to know the specific way of the lens.

A shot generally includes three aspects: scene, angle and action. The so-called scene separation generally refers to the specific field of vision formed by the distance between the camera or camera lens and the object being photographed, which is actually the scenes with different distances that we usually see. For example, if we look at the mountains in the distance, we will form a broad vision, that is, a distant view. And when we stare at someone's eyebrows at close range, all we can see is their eyebrows. This is a close-up.

So there are five kinds of scenery: distant view, panoramic view, middle view, close view and close-up. According to the distance between the camera and the object, scenes covering different areas are formed.

Then there is the angle, which is the horizontal included angle between the camera lens and the subject, including head-up, head-up, head-down and tilt lens.

Finally, the movement of the lens mainly contains two meanings. One refers to the movement of the subject, and the other refers to the position movement of the camera.

Let's talk about modeling elements first. Different from literary writing, film and television convey information and express themes through a large number of images. If the image is composed of a lens, then the modeling elements are the materials that make up the lens, and the modeling elements mainly refer to light, color and composition. Through these elements, people and the environment can be expressed, thus creating an ever-changing and colorful visual image.

Generally speaking, the basic elements of an image include lens elements and modeling elements. The lens element is the skeleton, and the modeling element can be regarded as flesh and blood.
