How to shoot a depressed portrait with a SLR?

When shooting sunken portraits with SLR, we should consider the influence of frame, focal length and aperture. We mainly combine dim light with blurred background, which is also called background blur.

Then you have to look at the following four images about the scattered scene:

1, the influence of the picture frame, the difference of the picture frame is the different convergence angle of the light behind the lens, and the larger the angle, the faster the dispersion circle changes.

2, the influence of focal length, the greater the focal length of the lens, the faster the blur appears.

3, aperture, the larger the aperture, the better the effect, because the aperture is the ratio of the lens focal length to the aperture opening, so the aperture value is small. For example, the aperture 1.2 blurs faster than the aperture 1.8.

4. The distance between the foreground and the background. When shooting, focus on the face of the person, especially the eyes close to the lens. People are as far away from the background as possible, not empty.

Once you master the concept of background blur, you can use it flexibly, such as saying "hyperfocal distance" in turn. When a photographer takes a street shot, he can take a general direction without lifting his camera.
