The History of Guangxi Film Studio

1958 started construction, 1960 only kept 1 news documentary film crew. On this basis, 1970 established Guangxi News Recording Film Studio. 1974 changed its name to Guangxi Film Translation Factory, 1975 began to produce feature films, and 1980 adopted its current name.

The studio is equipped with production technology room, art room, literature department, workshops for setting, lighting, printing, recording and special effects departments, studios for clothing, makeup, props and editing, and studios, special effects studios, dialogue recording studios and mixed recording studios. 1970- 1980 * * produced 160 news documentaries and 18 science and education films, and translated 15 feature films in local minority languages. 1975- 1985 * * filmed 28 feature films and art films 1 department.

Guangxi Film Studio, established in 1958, is a national large-scale second-class enterprise and a deputy department-level unit. It has a creative team with complete categories such as screenwriter, director, photography and fine arts, as well as an audio-visual publishing house, three studios, two recording studios, a landscape workshop and a series of professional film and television shooting equipment. Over the past 40 years, Guangxi Film Studio has produced a large number of films and TV programs, many of which have won China and international awards, enjoying a high reputation at home and abroad, such as One and Eight, Yellow Land, Battle of Taierzhuang, Yang Guifei, Zhou Enlai, None Less and so on. The works filmed cover all kinds of films and film and television art forms: films include advertisements, news films, feature films, science and education films, art films, feature films and opera film; Art forms include drama, comedy, farce, myth, science fiction and so on. Among them, Zhang Yimou, Jun-Zhao Zheng and Xiao Feng, the fifth generation directors of China, who are well-known at home and abroad, rose from here. Together with outstanding creative workers, they are still the backbone of the light and shadow industry. Through hard exploration and tenacious struggle, the employees of the whole factory have made great contributions to the development of China's film and television industry.
