Let’s go as soon as we can – a two-day and two-night trip to Nanjing
In early March 2019, not long after I came to school, I suddenly felt extremely homesick. It just so happened that there was nothing else to do during this time at school except writing papers, and it was easier for me to have random thoughts when I was free. I felt very melancholy when I looked at my mother’s daily posts in Moments. However, after I called her for the Nth time to express my desire to go home, and before I could finish my complaints about homesickness, our mother-in-law went straight to her to feed the cat. I hung up the phone...
I patted my chest and waited in the corridor for a long time to catch my breath. After I finally recovered, I sent someone on WeChat who was already working in my hometown. My best friend sent me a message: "I really miss home!"
From day to night, my lovely best friend finally got free and came back to me: "How about? Let's go out and play on a weekend. !"
I originally thought that my best friend would just comfort me officially, saying something like "There is nothing to worry about at home", but I didn't expect her to say something like this. After thinking about my arrangements for the past few days, it seemed that there was nothing important.
So, I just agreed.
We both thought about it, and in order to keep the distance between her and me, we made a compromise and chose Nanjing, the ancient capital of thirteen dynasties.
The location was determined, and then the time was determined based on the weather: March 15th to 17th, arriving in Nanjing on Friday night and leaving Nanjing on Sunday afternoon.
Then we started our trip to Nanjing at the drop of a hat.
My best friend had to go to work on Friday, so she took an hour off in the afternoon, got off work early, caught the train to the high-speed rail station, and then took the 19:00 high-speed train to Nanjing South Railway Station. I bought the high-speed train at around 18:00 Departing from Shanghai Hongqiao to Nanjing South, we successfully met at Nanjing South Railway Station around 21:00 in the evening. That night I booked a hotel within a 10-minute walk from the Presidential Palace. Take Metro Line 3, get off at Daxinggong Station, and walk to the hotel to check in.
The next day, I went out at 9 o'clock in the morning and walked to the Presidential Palace. I scanned the QR code at the ticket office to buy tickets, which cost 38 yuan per person. We played until about 11 a.m., took a lot of photos inside, and then came out. However, when we were inside the Presidential Palace, our tour route was very problematic. After leaving the central axis, we looked at many attractions along the right side. Then we reached the far left and walked along the road to the entrance. There were no attractions on the central axis. Look, so I walked in again along the central axis.
After leaving the Presidential Palace at noon, we walked to Daxinggong Subway Station, took Line 3 and got off at Confucius Temple Station, then had lunch at Confucius Temple, and walked along the road to Laomendong. I passed by a Starbucks and ordered two Frappuccinos. After walking around Laomendong, I bought yogurt ice cream. There is Nanjing Deyun Society in Laomendong. In fact, if you like cross talk very much, it would be great to walk around Laomendong and buy a ticket to listen to a Deyun Society cross talk. But at that time, we both wanted to save money... .. (Hahaha, you all know it!) By around 15:30 in the afternoon, I had almost completed my journey around Lao Mendong. Then we rode our bicycles to Confucius Temple, where we ate duck intestines, candied haws, Zhuangyuan cake and other snacks while shopping. The purpose is to wait until dark to see the night view of the Qinhuai River.
The weather was good that day and the temperature was very high. After watching the night view around 19:00, we felt it was a pity that we missed the night view of Laomendong, so we went to Laomendong on a *** ride Watch the night view. After watching the night view, this time we booked a hotel near Xuanwumen. We took Metro Line 3 to Line 4 and got off at Gulou Station and walked to the hotel.
We were both exhausted from the whole day. But I had a lot of fun visiting the Presidential Palace, Confucius Temple and Laomendong in one day!
The next day, I planned to go to Xuanwu Gate in the morning. If the city wall was free, I would go up and walk to Jiming Temple. But the next day, it was a pity that the city wall was not free. So we walked to Xuanwu Lake Park, Yingzhou-Lingzhou-Jiefangmen. My best friend saw many children playing with the bubble-blowing toy and wanted to play with it, so she bought one in the park and played with it while walking, although it was quite tiring. . I also bought hawthorn cake as an appetizer. There was a food festival when I was passing by Lingzhou, so I went in and bought some food.
Walking out of Jiefangmen is the Gujiming Temple. We bought tickets from the back door for 10 yuan/person and were given three blessing incense sticks. After going up the steps, we saw many people praying to gods and worshiping Buddha... Then we lit incense in the incense burner in front, pretended to make wishes, then walked around the temple for a while, and then went out. The cherry blossoms were not in bloom at that time (later Jiming Temple Cherry Blossoms was a hot search on Weibo, but the cherry blossoms were not in bloom at that time. If they had been, there might have been more people), and then we followed the crowd out of the street of Jiming Temple, which is just southeast The Sipailou campus of the university is nearby, so we walked to visit other schools. There are not many people in the school, and it is very quiet. When walking on the street, you can feel all kinds of noise, but when you enter the school gate, it is very quiet, and your heart also calms down. The campus is not very big, so we walked around casually and came out. It was around 12 noon. After searching on our mobile phones, there was nothing good to eat nearby, so we rode our shared bicycles to the Gulou Campus of Nanjing University. After riding around the Nanjing University campus for a while, we were really hungry, so we went to a nearby shopping mall to eat. Then in the afternoon, I originally wanted to find Starbucks to use a coupon given yesterday, but I couldn't find it after following the navigation. I was lucky enough to see the company of Jiangsu Satellite TV.
Around 16:00 in the afternoon, we took the subway to Nanjing Station and prepared to go home!
In general, we actually did not go to many famous attractions in Nanjing, such as Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum, but in a two-day trip, we were able to visit Confucius Temple, Laomendong, Presidential Palace, Jiming Temple, Xuanwu Temple, etc. A trip to Lake Park, Southeast University Sipailou Campus, and Nanjing University Gulou Campus is also worth it! It's just that I walked too much in the past two days and didn't eat well. I was so tired that I took it easy for several days after returning to school.
This is probably what it looks like!
