Brief introduction of Pan Dawei
Pan Dawei (18811.05-1929.08.27), also known as Xinwei, was born in Tiecang, formerly known as Yingwo, a native of Lubusi, Panyu County, Guangdong Province (now Tangxia Street, Tianhe District, Guangzhou City). He is a legendary figure who collected the remains of 72 martyrs and buried them in Huanghuagang. After the failure of the uprising in Guangzhou on March 29th, 19 1, the martyrs were exposed in the streets. He risked his life to collect and bury the scattered remains of 72 martyrs in Honghuagang (later renamed "Huanghuagang"), known as "Huanghuagang 72 Martyrs" in history.
