Road trip Raiders on Sichuan-Tibet Line in 2022 (latest edition)

Going to road trip and the Sichuan-Tibet Line has always been a route for young people in China to challenge themselves. Everyone is very keen to seek more exciting scenes and paintings here and feel different customs and charm. This is the latest route.

First, Sichuan entered the green.

In order to avoid going back, people usually go to Tibet from the Sichuan-Tibet line and the Qinghai-Tibet line. The donkey friends refer to this route as "wearing gold and getting green". The whole journey is about 5000 kilometers, and it takes about 16 days to drive while walking. It spans Sichuan, Tibet, Qinghai and Xining, and is the longest, most charming and culturally diverse scenic avenue in China.

In the figure below, the red line is National Highway 3 18, namely Sichuan-Tibet Line; The cyan line is the national highway 109, which is the Qinghai-Tibet line; The purple line is National Highway 2 13, also called gannan county.

Second, the Sichuan-Tibet north-south line

Sichuan-Tibet highway, referred to as Sichuan-Tibet line. The route from Sichuan to Tibet is not only National Highway 3 18, but also National Highway 3 17. National Highway 38 is lower in altitude, more colorful in scenery and better in road conditions, which is suitable for the first time travelers to Tibet. Comparatively speaking, the self-driving environment of National Highway 3 18 is much worse, which is more suitable for senior friends who drive four-wheel drive off-road vehicles.

As shown below, the red line is National Highway 3 18, which is called the south of Sichuan-Tibet Line. The cyan line is the national highway 3 17, which is called the northern line of Sichuan-Tibet line. Most hikers drive to Tibet by themselves and take National Highway 3 18.

Third, Chengdu goes directly to Daocheng Aden.

The Sichuan-Tibet line, Tibet, has always been a hiker's dream. But sometimes because of lack of time, I can only go to Aden, a rice city in western Sichuan. The nearest distance from Daoyading to Chengdu is about1700km, which takes about 2 days for one-way trip and 5 days for round trip.

Daoyading, known as the "soul of Shangri-La", is divided into: Yading Village, Daocheng County, Ganzi Prefecture, Sichuan Province. In the eyes of foreign travelers, Daocheng Aden is the last piece of pure land on the water-blue planet. The scenery is primitive and pure. When you visit Aden, your vision is like walking in heaven.

Fourth, other lines.

Tibet is so big, even if you travel in Tibet 365 days a year, you can't see half the scenery in Tibet. Besides the regular routes, there are many tourist routes in Tibet. For example, the new Tibet line, the Yunnan-Tibet line, iced tea, the Ali Great Ring Road, and the 5-day tour of Mount Qomolangma Namco.
