Luxun Academy of Fine Arts was founded to commemorate Luxun's outstanding contribution to War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and carry forward Luxun's spirit.

Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts, referred to as "Lu Mei", is located in Shenyang, Liaoning Province. It is the only multi-disciplinary and multi-academic art school in Northeast China, one of the eight national fine arts colleges, and a key construction university of first-class universities in Liaoning Province. Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts was named by Chairman Mao and was established in Yan 'an on 1938, which was personally initiated by Chairman Mao and Premier Zhou.

Industrial design experimental teaching center is the only national industrial design experimental teaching demonstration center in similar universities in China.
