I "still" love you - reading Qingshan's "Still"
Whenever a new book is published in Qingshan, I always buy it habitually.
From "Farewell to Weian" to "Yuetong Crossing the River", her life, writing, encounters, and mentality... have been changing. A full sixteen years.
I have known her and her works for twelve years. From taking time out to read her farewells to Wei'an and Lianhua during the busy schedule, to retaining the words she shared on Weibo, I have always maintained love and respect for her.
Sometimes her published works naturally correspond to traces of her life shared on Weibo, and they feel very close to each other.
That day I saw the publication of her photography book, her sixteenth book. Faced with this very personal album, I couldn’t wait to buy it after seeing the preface published by the official account.
Over the past ten years, her changes have been quiet and obvious. The writing style has changed from the cold and cold days of youth to the gradually revealing Zen feeling now; the life has changed from the initial turmoil to being a loving mother. It feels like the texture of her life has melted from the cold ice peaks into a gurgling clear spring, which can moisturize everything in the world. Silent—for itself and for the reader.
It was her who began to understand the meaning of travel, who followed her to perceive the beauty of small things, who thought more deeply about the true meaning of love because of her, who borrowed her light to protect the inner sensibility and Soft... I always feel grateful and lucky to have her works accompanying me all the way.
In the past, I was unwilling to talk about her easily, let alone share her with others. She was always a very private treasure in my heart. The same is true when reading "Still". On weekend afternoons, I deliberately take time to find a coffee shop to sit down, and then slowly turn over page by page.
Travel, she, child. Three chapters of photography include her personal photos and some short texts along the way, which serve as supporting evidence and annotations for each other.
Some of the photos and words I have seen in her previous works or Weibo make me feel familiar. But I still admire the solemn arrangement and arrangement of each page in the book.
This is a very personal photography book, with almost no professional photography skills. As she said, "I am not a photography enthusiast. I have no professional theory and no experience." "Most of it The photos are taken with ordinary household digital cameras or mobile phones. From a texture point of view, they are only personal existence.”
However, through these photos, it is possible. People can understand her memories and feelings about the small moments in life, her deep remembrance and surprise of the beauty of every bit, her deep understanding of the journey, the integration of body and mind, her cherishing of herself and her little daughter... p>
We always ignore the small things and existence around us; we noisily proclaim our love for travel but often just stay in the superficial pursuit of "visiting" a certain place; we always pay attention to the flow of time and the passage of beauty, or Completely numb or overly sad...but I still don't know what mentality and way to treat beauty, loneliness, myself, and everything.
Through each photo and paragraph of text in "Still", I seem to see a completely different attitude towards life. I couldn't help but take a deep breath and wanted to sit quietly and reflect on the time I had spent and the journey I had gone through.
She said, "I spent some time moving around the world. In a foreign land, I eat local food and live a local life. I am not greedy for the beautiful scenery or attached to my personal identity, but just feel the heart of all things and be with it. Blending. Come to think of it, every place I have visited is actually closely related to my karma. It is like fulfilling my promises and pouring them into my writing in the future."
After going through those people and events, I often seek a kind of understanding and understanding with a sensitive heart. She kept writing along the way and reaped the rewards at just the right moment. Always be on the road of alertness and sobriety, and never let your mind wander for a moment.
As for me, through reading her moments, I have continuously and clearly perceived the changes in my mentality and the inheritance of my understanding of world affairs over the past ten years. I have always been able to absorb the nourishment of the cool voice from her. I hope to live with a more solemn and wise heart.
“A photo is a slice of time and space, recording the rich and complex elements of that time: mood, atmosphere, artistic conception, details, materials, breath, emotions...the past is reflected in the photo . "Photos become a mark of time and space." - "Still"
"I have traveled to modern cities, traveled to remote wilderness, traveled to the West, and seen mountains, seas, and plains. , lakeside, snow-capped mountains...the last thing left behind are still some accidental and random impromptu records. Sometimes, there are no records at all.
