What does Gestapo in Nazi Germany mean?

Gestapo is the transliteration of Gestapo, which is the abbreviation of German "Geheime Staats Polizei" and is controlled by SS. At the beginning of its establishment, it was a secret police organization, and later joined a large number of SS personnel to implement the "final solution" and slaughter innocent people. In the last months of the war, heinrich himmler, the leader of the Gestapo, exposed his ambition to replace Hitler, the head of state. Hitler dismissed Hiram from all his posts and ordered his arrest and prosecution. Himmler pretended to be an ordinary soldier and tried to escape. After being captured by the allied forces, Himmler committed suicide by taking poison. The last Gestapo (adolf eichmann) was arrested by the Israeli intelligence agency Mossad on June 1962 and sentenced to death.
