Contrast technology of photography
Contrast technology of photography: content contrast
Content contrast means that a work contains opposing ideological connotations, such as good and evil, beauty and ugliness. Through mutual contrast, people's conscience and serious thinking are aroused.
Contrast skills of photography: contrast of forms
The contrast of forms refers to the contrast of opposing factors in composition and modeling. Common ones are: color contrast, shape contrast, color contrast and so on.
(1) Tone contrast means that in a photographic work of art, in addition to the basic tone of a command picture, several opposite tones should also be matched at the same time, so as to highlight the basic tone in the contrast of tones with different intensities and form diverse and unified tones.
(2) Shape contrast The contents of shape contrast include: virtual reality contrast, hidden dew contrast, primary and secondary contrast, size contrast, density contrast, dynamic and static contrast.
The contrast between reality and reality is to use the depth of field to make the scenery in the picture of the work virtual (fuzzy) real (clear) and set off each other. Generally speaking, the subject should be real and the background should be empty, so that the picture has visual focus and highlights the subject.
The contrast between hiding and revealing is also a modeling method used to strengthen the expressive force of the subject, that is, the artistic image in the picture is treated as the whole subject, and the foil is residual; Or the main body is positive, setting off the back; Or the body is exposed and the foil is covered. Otherwise, the two can not form a primary and secondary role in the viewer's psychology, thus making the picture lose focus.
Primary and secondary contrast refers to the intentional arrangement of the subject in the visual center of the picture (the intersection of the vertical line and the apparent horizon) or the golden corner of the composition (any point of the four intersections of the nine squares). The foil can be arranged in other parts; On the other hand, the priority is reversed and the role of the master is usurped.
Size contrast refers to the contrast of the size of objects in the picture. According to people's visual habits, large objects are easy to attract visual attention, while small things are often ignored. In contrast, the volume of different objects can be vividly reflected.
Density contrast not only refers to the contrast between the outline lines and the internal lines of the represented object, but also can be understood as the contrast formed by the convergence and divergence of the point-line structure in the picture. For example, in the environment of large complex lines, a simple thing stands out; On the contrary, in the background of large and simple schlieren, a little thing with complex lines is the most attractive.
The contrast between static and dynamic is similar to the contrast between reality and reality in form, and it is a contrast between clear and fuzzy images. What is the difference between reality and reality? Virtual? Is it a soft and fuzzy virtual shadow, and is dynamic and static in contrast? Moving? It is a moving object that looks like a flowing line. The movement of the main body, the stillness of the foil, or the movement of the foil at the stillness of the main body are all aimed at highlighting the main body.
(3) Color contrast Color contrast refers to putting two different colors together to form obvious contrast or cause visual changes. The content of color contrast includes: color element contrast: (also called hue contrast) it includes similar color contrast, such as deep red and light red; Similar color contrast, such as orange and green; Brightness contrast (also called purity contrast) refers to the brightness change of the same color due to different light intensity, and also refers to the brightness difference of different hues, such as yellow and purple.
Color contrast: refers to two colors put together, which will cause visual feelings? Illusion color? . Color contrast includes simultaneous contrast: for example, the contrast between red and yellow. In visual perception, red is not pure red but blue and reddish purple; Yellow is not pure yellow, but bluish and close to green. Continuous contrast: stare at the red first, then look at the purple, and you will think that the purple is turquoise. Complementary contrast: it is to juxtapose a color with different lightness. Because of the contrast, the bright ones will be perceived as brighter and the thick ones will be darker. Color psychological contrast: color psychological contrast is also called cold and warm contrast, that is, the contrast between warm and cold colors on the color ring. Color contrast: refers to the contrast of various color block sizes in the picture. The main function of color contrast is to highlight the theme, enrich the picture, form the rhythm and render the emotion.
