It is understood that the Kia driver’s surname Wang is from Hebei. According to him, his cousin (another drunk driver) was doing business in the Northeast and he hadn’t seen him for many years. Recently, he came to Tianjin to work. That day, they met near Heping Road and were preparing to return to their hometown in Huanghua, Hebei Province overnight to celebrate the New Year. While waiting for his cousin to arrive, Wang had a dinner and drank some wine, thinking that everything would be fine. According to Wang's cousin, he drank two taels of wine at noon and was lucky enough to think that he would not be intercepted by the police. Unexpectedly, the two brothers who wanted to go back to their hometown to celebrate the New Year met at the traffic police brigade. The Peace Police Brigade punished the cousins ??for drunk driving in accordance with the law, suspending their driving licenses for three months, fined them 500 yuan, and deducted 6 points from their driving licenses.

Just yesterday morning, the Traffic Management Bureau once again carried out night checks and unified rectification operations for drunk driving. The city mobilized more than 1,200 traffic police officers to investigate and deal with 114 cases of drunk driving violations in accordance with the law at 150 points, and investigated and dealt with more than 900 cases of traffic violations such as motor vehicles running signals and large trucks violating prohibition regulations.
