How to do 360-degree panoramic post-shooting?

Shooting rings generally need the help of some auxiliary tools.

Photographic turntable, generally 10 ~ 60 cm in diameter, is generally electric, with few scales. If there is no scale, we can make one ourselves, use a piece of paper with the same length as the outer circumference of the turntable or splice it into an outer circumference, and divide it into 24 equal parts (fold it three times and then divide it into three equal parts). Such a crease unit is 15 (the size doesn't need to be very accurate), stick it on the turntable above with double-sided tape, and make an arrow or other arbitrary logo on the disk below the turntable. The function of the turntable is to make the object rotate, which is convenient for shooting. Be careful not to buy too fast, at least for more than 60 seconds at a time.

Photographic light box, big enough to hold a turntable. Most light boxes are portable, which can be opened when used and folded when not in use. Light boxes naturally have lights. The light of this small light box is generally LED light bar, which can be installed at the top of the light box. Hang a layer of gauze under the light bar to let the light source penetrate evenly. A circle of solid cardboard can be attached around the light box. The function of light box is to keep the brightness and clean background of small space.

When shooting, lay the light box flat on a flat desktop or workbench, install LED light bars, transparent tulle and background cardboard, put the turntable in the center of the light box, and put the items to be shot in the center of the turntable. Support the camera at an appropriate distance, so that the camera can cover the subject as much as possible without light boxes and few turntables.

The height of the camera, slightly higher than the subject, can be photographed by tilting down slightly.

Adjust the camera horizontally, turn on the electric turntable, take a photo every 15 scale unit after rotation, and take 24 photos once.

Why did we choose to take 24 photos? Because 24 frames can maintain good coherence, we divide the circumference of the turntable into 24 equal parts. Of course, we can also divide it into 12, 18, 30, 60 on average, which depends on the specific requirements.

The above is a simple shooting of a horizontal ring. The shooting object is limited and the volume cannot be too large. If you are professional, you need photographic slides, tracks, suspension devices, large scenery, lighting and so on.

By changing the vertical position of the camera, you can shoot the ring with horizontal and vertical perspectives.
