What does the movie Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon mean?

Li Mubai, the Great Xia, wanted to quit the Jianghu and entrusted Yu Xiulian, a confidante, to give the Qingming Sword to Lord Baylor for collection, but it was stolen by Yu Jiaolong that night. Yu Xiulian secretly investigated and knew that it was Miss Yu Jiaolong of Yufu. She tried to force Yu Jiaolong to return the sword so as not to get hurt. However, Li Mubai found traces of the blue-eyed fox that killed its owner. She hid in the jade mansion and took Yulong as her disciple.

Yulong wanted to use the Qingming sword to break the shackles that hindered Luo Xiaohu, and they made a lifelong commitment. Relationships get complicated. The bitter water in the willful and arrogant Yujiaolong's heart has nowhere to vent, just like a little magic star in the Jianghu. Yu Xiulian and Li Mubai cherish Yu Jiaolong's talent, and their painstaking guidance is always ineffective.

In the last battle with the blue-eyed fox, Li Mubai died to save Yu Jiaolong from the poisonous needle. Jade Jiaolong, led by Yu Xiulian, came to Wudang Mountain, but he could not face Luo Xiaohu. After lingering with Luo Xiaohu all night, he put in countless hardships.

Extended data:

As the first Chinese-language film and the only foreign-language film to win an Oscar, the Golden statuette ranks first in the martial arts genre. Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon may be regarded as the top combination of China and movie master, and it is the pinnacle of martial arts.

Directed by Ang Lee, including photography, dancing, dress, Tan Dun score, plus Yo-Yo Ma's performance and wonderful performances by a group of actors, the elegance of Confucianism and Taoism is vividly displayed in a poetic picture.

Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, as the fourth part of Wang Dulu's Five Parts of Iron Crane, was selected as the original by the director. Its attraction lies in the artistic tension of the tragedy and the personality charm of the characters. As a matter of fact, Li Mubai and Yu Xiulian were originally the protagonists in the previous novels "Sword and Golden Hairpin" and "The Pearl in Surprise", but their roles in the original novel "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" were not too big.

Ang Lee increased their scenes, but greatly cut Luo Xiaohu's scenes. What he wants is to tell the story of the Green Ghost Sword in Ang Lee's heart with the help of their Jianghu children.
