Beijing Film Academy, referred to as Nortel for short, is located at No.4 Xitucheng Road, Haidian District, Beijing.

Beijing Film Academy is a public art undergraduate in Beijing. It is an art college with a long film history and profound film culture accumulation. Its predecessor was the Academy of Performing Arts established in 1950. 195 1 moved to the Film Academy of the Film Bureau of the Central Ministry of Culture, and 1953 was renamed Beijing Film Academy. It has been nearly 70 years since its establishment. Many famous teachers have created many classic works in the history of China film, which has led the development of film education in China in discipline construction, teaching creation and teaching staff.

The school has 15 departments, including literature department, director department, photography department, film department, photography technology department, performance college, sound college, fine arts college, animation college, management college, photography college and digital media college, as well as graduate students and basic departments. Among them, there are five national majors such as photography, animation and dubbing. Huang Xiaoming, Chen Kun, Yang Mi, Zhang and He all graduated from Nortel.
