lyrics

The wind is whistling and the horse is barking.

The Yellow River is roaring, the Yellow River is roaring.

The hills in Hexi are lofty, and the sorghum in Hedong and Hebei is ripe.

There are many anti-Japanese heroes in Shan Ye, and the guerrillas in the green tent are heroes.

Pick up a pike and a foreign gun and wave a broadsword and spear.

Defend my hometown and the Yellow River.

Defend North China and all China.
