How important is the choice of scenery to the filter?

Lead: When I first fell in love with the scenery, I didn't know how to choose the filter, so I used the automatic surround exposure in the camera to take different exposures, and then synthesized them with photomatrix and other software. But the photos mapped with this photomatrix tone are not very natural. Start researching and using filters? Let's share some experiences.

And this one only uses Singh-Ray 3 to stop and reverse GND, and the effect is still good. But the rocks in the sea are a little dark, but I don't think this will affect the overall effect.

Li Dasai, there are not many opportunities to use it. However, without this filter, fog, rocks and islands will not produce the expected effect.

The plug has obvious color cast and blue, as shown in the following figure:

Circular polarizer CPL I use B+W 77mm Caizerman XS professional. With live view, you can obviously feel the change of the picture by rotating CPL:

Later, I bought a full set of D700 and D800E, using Nikon's tauren14-24 mm. I knew that the lens was prominent, but it was still a little bit after I got it. Surprised? . The first machine test film surprised me, and the benefits were immediately seen. Is it sharp or sharp? Even at the focal length of 14 mm, I just bought a head and haven't bought a matching filter yet. This filter is useless because the sun has set and the light contrast is not very strong. Two different exposures are superimposed in photoshop:

The benefits of filming at night are obvious. 14mm focal length and 2.8 large aperture, the imaging effect is good.

Because the front lens has a large surface curvature, like a raised eyeball, the designer did not reserve a universal filter interface for such a wide-angle lens. This is the most important thing for me? Disadvantages? Well, everything else is fine. But now the Lee family has a filter bracket specially made for it, SW 150. This system includes a filter holder and a 0.6 hard gradient lens (CPL cannot be used because the front lens protrudes). At first, I was very uncomfortable with this filter bracket because it was inconvenient to install it every time. First of all, two rings should be fixed on the lens, so that the lens cover can't be used. The lens cover can only be made of velvet cloth made by the Li family.

After taking off the lens cover, you usually don't take two rings on the lens unless you are away from home. If you go out, it is best to use the lens cover originally configured for the lens, which is also convenient to put in the camera bag.

After installing the entire filter holder:

Besides the hard gradient of 0.6, I also bought the soft gradients of 0.75 and 0.9. The most commonly used is 0.9 soft gradient, and occasionally 0.6 hard gradient and 0.9 soft gradient are used together. Anyone who often takes pictures of the sea knows that the waves on the seashore are big and dangerous, and all three gradient mirrors were sacrificed at the seaside. I bought another 0.9 medium gray mirror ND (I waited for half a year to get it), so I can use it if I need long exposure. SW 150 system plus 150MM filter is not very convenient to carry, so be careful not to drop parts, my filter bracket screw will drop, so I need to buy it separately.
