Zhang's curriculum project
During the period of 1997, Professor Zhang was invited to participate in the compilation of a series of textbooks for liberal arts in normal universities for 2 1 century. He was the deputy editor-in-chief of China Ancient Literature and China Ancient Literature. He also served as the editor-in-chief of literature in Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties. This set of teaching materials is novel in design, informative, simple and uncomplicated, which is easy for teachers college students to accept. In 2000, Higher Education Press published a series of textbooks for Chinese majors. With the passage of time and the improvement of understanding level, in 2002, Professor Zhang presided over and convened ancient literature teachers of similar colleges in this province, and began to compile a new Selected Works of Ancient Literature in China, which was more innovative in style. Compared with other textbooks, it increases the comments and reviewing thinking questions of predecessors, which not only increases the knowledge content of textbooks, but also facilitates teachers' teaching and students' self-study.
In 2006, Professor Zhang organized all the teachers in the teaching and research section of ancient literature to study together, and declared the establishment of the school-level teaching achievement "Research and practice of realizing the teaching purpose of ancient literature in China by stages", and planned to discuss this topic with teachers from Jiamusi University and Hulan College of Harbin Normal University. Professor Zhang's research on The Book of Songs, Songs of the South and pre-Qin poetry has formed a complete curriculum system. Professor Zhang's special report, Achievements and Shortcomings in the Compilation of the History of Chinese Ancient Literature in the 20th Century, fully reflects the two professors' in-depth thinking on the history and present situation of ancient literature, and embodies their profound academic foundation and rational speculative spirit. Some teachers of the ancient literature class also participated in the compilation of the History of Ancient Chinese Literature, which was presided over by Professor Li Binghai from the Chinese Department of Renmin University of China, and the editor-in-chief of the Pre-Qin Literature Volume was Professor Zhang. These two textbooks are being actively compiled for the use of freshmen in 2003. Elective courses generally choose the monographs of the teachers in the course group, such as History of Poetry in Pre-Qin Dynasty co-authored by Professor Zhang (Jilin Education Press 1995) and The Sorrow and Joy of the Singer-The Spiritual Journey of the Literati in the Tang Dynasty co-authored by the professor (Hebei University Press 200 1).
