Disadvantages of medical imaging

The disadvantages of medical imaging are as follows:

1, the physical characteristics of ultrasound in medical images can not better diagnose bone, gastrointestinal tract and lung diseases. The results of ultrasound examination are easily influenced by many factors, especially the clinical skills of ultrasound doctors.

2. X-ray examination in medical images has high spatial resolution, which can quickly image and shorten the waiting time. The operation is very simple and the examination cost is not very high. However, some tissues and structures overlap, which makes it difficult to distinguish diseases, often misdiagnosed or missed, and it is difficult to distinguish tissues and organ lesions with small density difference.

3. Medical image enhanced CT can judge the blood supply of liver and kidney diseases and has high diagnostic value. However, the spatial resolution of CT is insufficient, and the obtained image is not very high.

4. Magnetic resonance imaging in medical images can find soft tissue edema and ligament tear, cartilage injury and spinal cord edema as early as possible. But the speed of magnetic resonance imaging is slow. Not suitable for pregnant women.

The extension of the basic definition of medical image;

Medical imaging mainly studies the basic knowledge and skills of basic medicine, clinical medicine and modern medical imaging, and engages in medical imaging diagnosis, interventional radiology and medical imaging technology in medical and health units. Common medical imaging techniques include: CT, MRI, B-ultrasound, angiography, electrocardiogram and so on.

Courses offered: physics, electronics, computer principles and interfaces, structure and maintenance of imaging equipment, medical imaging technology, photography, human anatomy, diagnostics, internal medicine.
