Photography skills of landscape portraits
Lead: Do you know the techniques of landscape portrait photography? If you don't know, please have a look at the landscape portrait photography skills I compiled for you, hoping to help you!
Landscape portrait, as its name implies, is a photographic work of landscape+portrait, which shows a harmonious beauty between man and nature. There are human feelings in the mountains and rivers, and people are in the mountains and rivers. Through mutual contrast and integration, the performance connotation of the picture can be sublimated.
The focus of shooting is to fully express the environmental characteristics, which is often achieved with an open perspective and atmospheric composition. Generally speaking, we should first create the theme tone we want to express according to the specific environmental atmosphere; Then, combined with the characters' clothing modeling, matching props and other elements, the scene is blended.
Element 1: Scene-Grasp the typical characteristics of the environment.
Understanding and expressing the characteristics of the environment is one of the key points in shooting landscape portraits, and the generalization and grasp of the typical environment is directly related to the establishment of the theme. I live in Xinjiang all the year round. The geography here is very rich, including vast Gobi, millions of years of Populus euphratica, vast grasslands, majestic snow-capped mountains, clear lakes and winding rivers. When choosing a shooting scene, we should establish the shooting theme according to the characteristics of the scene and adopt appropriate expression techniques to make the characters and the scene better set each other off.
Alpine wheat field
This scene is a rolling Tianshan wheat field, and the most representative scenery of the alpine wheat field is a cylindrical high barley pile. Snow-capped mountains and pine forests in the distance, grasslands and wheat fields in the vicinity echo each other from afar. Shooting in such a scene focuses on vast wheat fields, huge wheat stacks and rich saturated colors. The characters in it can show a reverie and feeling of mature season. Suitable for shooting when the weather is clear, with blue sky and white clouds, golden wheat fields and rich color levels. Because the scene is wide, we mainly use natural light, especially side light to shoot. Under such light conditions, the color is fully expressed, the texture is outstanding, and the three-dimensional sense of characters and wheat stacks is stronger.
A desolate desert
This scene is the Kumtag Desert, which is inaccessible within 8km of Fiona Fang. Desert is characterized by dry, barren and wavy texture, especially the rhythm of sand ridges is very good, and the color change in the morning and evening is also one of the typical characteristics of the environment. In such an environment, it is suitable to combine point, line and plane, and use telephoto to compress the picture. Because shooting is often based on the rhythm level of sand, the sky can be omitted as appropriate when composing music; You can also make full use of diagonal lines (such as sand ridges) to obtain a vivid and symmetrical layout structure. In grasping the light, we should try our best to seek the change of light and shadow, especially to lengthen the shadow of the characters by using the oblique backlight in the morning and evening to enrich the level of the picture.
Element 2: People-Planning the Right Position and Proportion
Landscape portrait framing should be decided according to the scene environment and expression, the picture should be concise and the subject should be prominent. Judging from the scenery, the vision is mainly based on the scenery, and the area occupied by the characters is small, but it can make the finishing point. At this time, the face and expression of the characters are weakened, and the overall image temperament and implied theme are enhanced by modeling and posture. Mid shot is an organic combination of full-length portrait and environment, and it is a typical performance of landscape portrait. Close-range photos, such as seven-point photos and half-length photos, tend to depict characters, so we should grasp the characteristics of the scene and form an echo with the characters. The key is that the position of the characters in the picture should match the density of the landscape, otherwise it will give people a sense of disharmony.
Regarding the position and proportion of characters, I have several suggestions to share with you.
1. If the landscape has prominent points, or it is necessary to arrange the foreground, you can consider arranging the interesting points of the landscape near the golden section, while the characters are placed in the interesting center of the whole picture, which echoes in a balanced way.
2. If the scenery is "dull" and there is no focus, the proportion of characters should not be too large, and one third (left and right) of the picture is a very stable position, which can highlight the characters well.
