How to mount photos?

Matters to be prepared for mounting photos:

1. The backboard should be elastic and firm.

2. Double-sided tape needs a lot, preferably wide. It is best to prepare three or four volumes according to your own size.

3. Whole roll of toilet paper

Steps of installation:

1. Mark the position of the photo on the backboard;

2. Carefully cover the back of the photo with double-sided tape. The method is as follows: first cover the four sides with a circle, and then stick it with double-sided tape along the horizontal direction of the photo. Pay close attention to this step and don't leave gaps or overlaps. I think the reason why your framed photo has bubbles may be that your double-sided tape is not completely attached, and the photo is unevenly stressed after a long time.

3. Tear off a short-side double-sided adhesive tape of the photo, fix it in a marked place, stick it firmly, and then tear off other double-sided adhesive tapes. Be careful not to stick it now.

This step is very important. You'd better find a helper if you can, but I think those frame friends can handle it themselves. -Make the back panel concave towards the photo. The purpose of this step is to make your photo stick on the backboard, restore flatness, and let the photo bear a certain tension and remain flat for a long time.

I use that roll of toilet paper now. From the side where you are fixed, use toilet paper to slowly stick the photo on the back plate that bends inward. The function of toilet paper is that it can be stressed very evenly and will not damage the photos.

6. After the photo is leveled, the backboard will also be leveled. The photos at this time should be extremely flat. You can frame it now.

Tip: photos may swell and deform after absorbing water, so whether you are in a very humid environment or not, it is a wise choice to cold-mount photos that need to be mounted.
