Brief Introduction of Panjiakou, the Underwater Great Wall in xifengkou, Tangshan

Panjiakou was called Lulongzhai in ancient times. In the 11th year of Jian 'an in the Eastern Han Dynasty (AD 206), Cao Cao left the village during his northern expedition to Wuhuan. Panjiakou New Pass was built in the forty-first year of Jiajing in Ming Dynasty (AD 1562) and heavily stationed. From then on, Luanhe River flows into the entrance, and dangerous rocks stand on both sides, and the terrain is very dangerous. 1975 to 198 1 section, Panjiakou Reservoir will be built at the junction of Kuancheng, Qianxi and Xinglong counties in the upper reaches of Luanhe River. Xifengkou Great Wall is located in Panjiakou reservoir area, and its main body has been submerged. The project of diverting Luanhe River into Tianjin, which lasted for ten years, runs across the Great Wall, with two great passes, xifengkou and Panjiakou, inlaid with a pool of blue waves, forming the underwater Great Wall, the scenic spot of the Great Wall in Wan Li.
