Please refer to instruction P 199. There are detailed instructions. I happen to have D800E, and it is set to take one picture every five seconds, which is 10 in total. Choose to shoot immediately (irregularly). When the interval shooting function is turned on, press the shutter once and take a picture every 5 seconds until 10 is taken. Most of the "no shooting" problems you encounter are that you don't pay attention to the scheduled shooting time option, or you may choose a few hours before shooting.

It is worth noting that the interval shooting of Nikon camera is not the same as the "time-lapse photography" APP of mobile phone. After interval shooting, Nikon formed an independent picture. Mobile phone time-lapse photography should also set the interval and the number of shots. After shooting, the photos taken each time are not kept, but combined into a dynamic short film in gif format, which is suitable for shooting scenes such as heavy traffic and walking in the clouds.
